The hostel is clean and the staff is lovely. It is well-located, easy to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. Only comment: it's not very sociable, there are not a lot of effort from the staff to get people together, do group tours and encourage a fun, sociable environment. It is not the best if you are a solo traveller cuz it makes it hard to meet people

One of the best hostels that i have stayed ever; so good that I extended my stay twice and didnt want to leave. The hostel is alsk quite social and they try to have events to get everyone involved.

Great hostel! Clean, new and has a lovely pool. The stuff were super helpful and kind! For a solo travelers is just perfect! I booked one night and decided to extend my stay here, ended booking another night with other booking site due to complication with Expedia.

Overall the place was great. A little maintenance and upkeep would help. The bars and shelf in the bathroom had fallen off as well as the shelf in my bed area.

Great place!

Loved this place! Stayed here for 3 nights in a a solo room. Really lovely room, very comfortable. Didnโ€™t get to use the pool but it looked nice. Bar was great and super socialable if youโ€™re a solo traveller like me. Well located with only a few mins walk to the beach and 20 mins to night market.

This place is definitely more like a hotel!! Super private and comfortable beds. Clean bathrooms separate male/female with hairdryers. The only negative was a family checked in with a lot of kids(thought ages for the hostel stated 18-45). The kids were just being kids and very loud, especially early morning. Food in the restaurant wasnโ€™t so good and expensive compared to street food. Also my return ticket was $7 more expensive than the way there but it seemed to be the same all over the island. I got an eye infection while there and one of the male workers was my lifesaver!!! Got me a 2 Day medicine pack that helped me so much!! Special thank you to him!!!

Can't help it...

Wonderful stay minus the bed bugs. I saw a large bug crawling on my bed, and I knew immediately what it was (and was confirmed by the staffs). However, I do want to say that the staffs were extremely responsive when I told them about the issue, and they switched room for us right after. The room we switched into was okay but we did notice a few dried blood spot on the cover (a telltale sign of bed bugs!), and sure enough my friend was bitten the next morning. Obviously they can't help it being a hostel but it definitely made me feel very restless at night.

Nice but sometimes noisy

I stayed in a private double room on the 2nd level, overlooking the pool. The room was clean and comfortable for my needs. Staff came to clean the floor, change towels, and replenish toiletries daily. It seemed quite secure. Wifi was very good. Breakfast was OK - you could go elsewhere if you don't have to eat too early. It seems to be the only place serving Western-style breakfast open at 6:30am. The only drawback is that if you are in any way sensitive to noise, you may not want to stay here. I stayed here 4 nights. The first night was so loud until about 2am, with music blasting and guests chatting around the pool. As the nights passed it wasn't as loud as the first, and got quieter earlier, so I think the noise level depends on a few factors. Not sure if my first night being a Friday night had anything to do with it (I'd think every day is the weekend while on holiday so the day of the week wouldn't matter).

Amazing hostel, best Iยดve ever stayed at! Really nice rooms, fantastic breakfast and the staff is great! For a solo traveler this is perfect, they have events every night and its very easy to meet people to hang out with.
