On the east coast lie the popular seaside resorts of Scarborough, 13 miles, and Filey, 17 miles, the serene fishing village of Robin Hoodâs Bay and the captivating old port of Whitby, 23 miles, with its Captain Cook connections, as well as miles of sandy beaches and a colourful harbour. Just 7 miles away you have Dalby Forest, where there is a plethora of woodland walks, a visitorâs centre, picnic areas, bikes to hire and the popular Go Ape treetop zip lines. The ancient city of York is 30 miles away and offers the majestic minster, the fascinating Jorvik Viking Centre, the Castle Museum, the National Railway Museum and excellent shopping facilities. This is an ideal choice all year round as the National Park is gorgeous in all seasons. Beach 14 miles. Pub and restaurant œ mile.
Easy check in, Chad the host was on hand when we arrived and showed us around the property including a good welcome pack. Everything you could need in the bungalow for a nice peaceful stay, near to a very good pub, and close to all the attractions of the north York moors. We will definitely return in the future.
