La Casina Del Pescatore On the Beach, Marina di Pietrasanta, Italy

The closest you can get to the sea without getting your feet wet! La Casina del Pescatore is a charming ground-floor flat for 4 people in the Bagno Gabbiano Versilia beach club.

The living room, which looks out over a garden, is furnished with 2 sofas and a TV. There is a dining table for 7 people. The separate, modern kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, fridge with freezer, Mokka coffee maker and electric kettle.

The flat also has a small private outdoor area with a table and chairs, for outdoor dining

Guests have free access to the beach club’s saltwater swimming pool, with sun loungers on the surrounding terrace, where guests can relax after a refreshing swim. A swimming hat must be worn at all times.

Access to the sunbeds/umbrellas on the beach are not included and must be paid/booked on site.

Location
In addition to being by the sea, the flat is ideally located for visiting the nearby towns, including Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio. Both are about 10 minutes by car.

Tuscany’s famous historical cities; Pisa (30 minutes), Luca (25 minutes), Florence (1 hour 30 minutes) and Siena (2 hours) are all close enough to make wonderful day trips. As is the Chianti region where visitors can find some of the best wines in Italy.

For self-catering there are weekly markets along the coast. The closest are in Pietrasanta on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Here you can find some of the freshest, best local produce to cook at home. For day-to-day shopping, there is a supermarket 3 minutes away.

The nearest airport is Pisa, 30 minutes away by car.
