The blow dryer didn't work , the one bed had mascara stains on the sheets I had one clean towel to use that was not dirty along with being folded up . I had a small single serve coffee maker in the room but no coffee I asked and was told no we don't supply coffee! It was very dirty I cleaned around and made it work but so happy to check out and be on my way! Never again Howard Johnsons you didn't even try to make things right!

It is advertised that there is a breakfast included, in the room it is advertised in a Howard Johnson book that the stay includes a free full hot breakfast. There was no such thing at all. The breakfast was cold pop tarts with no way to toast them and granola bars. The only thing to drink was coffee. There was also trash scattered on the counter, all of which I have pictures of. There was no ice bucket in my room and the phone was hidden in the bedside table.I had no maid service the entire week I was there. The heated pool was nice, but they clean the deck area about as often as they cleaned my room, there were discarded items in several places on the deck that stated in the same spots the whole week. I will not be staying at this hotel ever again. This is a warning to everyone that is looking at this hotel, please Don’t waste your money at this place.

Arrived to check in on Friday the lady that checked us in was okay, she charged my bank card twice for the 75 dollar damage fee. Saturday went to Dollywood came back and the hotel cleaners didn’t come in to clean or even bring new towels or wash cloth. I had to go down to the desk and ask for towels for me and my family. Sunday went to check out and waited about 5/10 mins for someone to check me out. Me and my family wasn’t to happy about our stay at this hotel. We visit pigeon forge twice a year.

When me and my son checked in, we stood at the desk for several minutes before the two people at the desk even acknowledged us. One of the desk people was eating what I would call "fruit by the foot" and talking to the other attendant. They could have cared less about us. There was no indication on the booking that didn't take cash. This is a very cheap hotel. I didn't expect much. My wife passed away two months ago. I have been to many resort hotel's, that have taken $500 in cash deposits.

Need to make hotel.com and book it aware deposit

When I came in it was for my fathers celebration of life so I was struggling and then they hit me with owing 75.00 deposit and I had spent everything I had to get there and having a place to stay . I was so upset because when I made the reservation they said I would be paying at the hotel when I got there no deposit or anything then they tried to pull money out of my locked card a few days before so I called the night before and spoke with the lady at the office after they hadn’t answered the phone all day for me or hotels .com who was also trying to find out what was happening. The lady didn’t say anything to me about a deposit. When I got there she said I called the wrong number didn’t talk to her which was a lie she gave me a card with the number on it to show I didn’t talk to her but when I called the number that I had spoke to her on the night before she answered and I told Her she was a lier she was very rude and at that time she had taken off the money for the room so I didn’t have any other money and she told me I could just go somewhere else that wasn’t possible because she has just taken all my money then told me I couldn’t stay because I didn’t have the other 75 so I did get very upset with her and tell her she was a lier other women working there who were also rude told her to ignore me so I sat there trying to get someone to barrow the money from for 10 days till It was returned which took for ever . I was there for 4 days. It was rough. I went to check in (I did the pre-check in and opted for early check in for an additional fee) and not only did they not let me check in they were rude about it insisting early check in was at 3 despite the sign on the wall that said regular check in was at 3. Outside it’s really run down and looks extremely sketchy. The entire experience was nothing like the photos. I went into the room and it wasn’t clean, there was crumbs all over the floor, hair, finger nail clippings etc. I took it upon myself to further inspect the sheets had a cigarette burn, there was cracks in the wall, the paint was “sweating”, the shower head was moldy. Door was covered in grime, my front door lock didn’t work. Everything was dirty. I booked two rooms. One for my husband, son and I one for my mom and two little sisters. They were both in terrible condition. No new towels no bed being changed. We ended up purchasing cleaning materials to straighten up ourselves as we had no other options in the area available. If I could attach photos I would.

No never cleaned our room plus roach bugs crawling.. charged me 900$ to stay. Everyone fighting and arguing all the time with staff. Save ur soul the peace of mind and dont go*!
