I typically do not write reviews but this hotel was beyond bad. The pictures on the website must be several years old as our room had the same furniture but it is filthy and falling apart. Pool was advertised as heated but it wasn't. Pool area in poor shape. You should just close in for awhile and fix it. Beds not comfortable and the pillows have to be the worst hotel pillows I've ever had. Breakfast was okay though. Presentation wasn't all that put it tasted good. Tub didn't drain very well while showering either. Staff was very friendly.

I looked at the reviews before booking this motel, but none of those reviews captured what my 2 friends and I witnessed. There were no light fixtures on the ceiling; all the lighting was just fluorescent strips of light sawed out of the wall and through the molding. There were huge stains in the carpet along our walk down the hallway. In the room, there were stains on the carpet, wallpaper peeling from the wall, the peep hole had tissue in it, the light fixtures were broken, water stains on the ceiling tile, the furniture was beat up with the wood being exposed underneath, the refrigerator was shimmied with boards to level it out, one of the chairs had a huge rips/slash in the fabric, the concrete on the balcony had chunks out of it, and one of the comforters had what looked like cat claw marks/rips. A complaint was made to a front staff named Seph, about the conditions, but he showed no concern or effort in taking action with the information he was given, he and Chanice, the other staff member, did not seem to care that we were unhappy with our stay and there was not a thank you for staying, safe travels, or well wishes of any kind. We will never stay at this motel again. Make sure to tell everyone we know to avoid this Choice motel location, and think twice about staying at or recommending Choice motels. A letter, with pictures, to corporate requesting a full refund of the room is the top priority!

Room was dirty and smelled bad. Leaking faucets, dirty toilet, stuff all over carpet. Elevator was dirty, hall carpets looked disgusting. Stairwell treads pulled up that would cause you to trip.

Pictures are very deceiving. Walls were very dirty and had boogers in several spots. Tables sticky. Shower steamed up the whole room. A/C unit shaky and made loud rattling noises. We didn’t let our children swim in the pool due to the conditions.

The room and all the hallways looked like they were never vacuumed. The room was dusty. Blood on the comforter. Indoor pool was not heated and the humidity in the indoor pool area was high.

The staff were wonderful. The room was not good. & we were put in the 5th floor the room was very outdated and it smelled really bad. The carpet was not clean it was gross. Bath tub seemed to be clean. Toilet was broken. If you sat on it it would lean foward. Hair dryer 100yrs old. Didn’t work. Someone threw up by the elevator and no one ever cleaned it up. Was there when we came back from dinner and still there in the morning when we were checking out.

I have stayed in hotels a total of 2 or 3 years in the last 10 years of my life. This had to be the worst that I have ever stayed in. Not just dirty, nasty !!! The smell was awful! I was going to leave, but my Grandson pitched a fit to stay. Shame on Choice Hotels to let this property carry your name. This is a good example of why I now stay in IHG properties.

The pool area was awesome, The lazy river was a comfortable temperature. The kids loved it. We also really enjoyed the roomy hot tub. The breakfast had plenty of choices for our family. The property is older and under renovations but the amenities such as the game room for the kids made it a pleasant stay. We will book again in the future.

My room had a very musty moldy smell we went out and bought a couple of candles to help with the smell, carpet was very stained and not vacuumed . We only had cleaning come in one day I thought they would at least vacuum the carpet but they did not. The glass on the balcony door looked as if it had not been cleaned in months. Breakfast was not bad at all. Location was good. I hate to give it a bad review because they said renovations were going on but I had to tell my experience.

Please advise on how to recoup the money I paid. We did notend up staying and had to book at another hotel around 9pm same night. I visited with my daughter for Fall Break, paying over $240/ night. The floor we were staying on had walls stripped off paint and all coverings exposing dry wall repair. There was a large, black roach near one of the doors near the elevator. Upon entering our room, it smelled like cigarette smoke. The carpet was dingy and sticky. The entire environment was a complete shock and felt like lie by omission. This level of renovation requires an advisory note and price break if the establishment intends to stay open for the duration of the process. As we stood in line to return our keys and decline to stay even one night, the family in front of us was trying to do the same. And they had multiple small children with them, with nowhere to stay. It was a very bizarre situation.

You get what you pay for (by comparison)

It looks like they haven’t vacuumed in months. The hallways smelled not dirty but not of cleaning products. Bugs on the ceiling. Beds were not comfortable. I guess you get what you pay for.
