Only only compalint i have is 2 out of 3 times we stayed the shower was leakin all night causing low pressure in the shower head. Having to go up front just to get towels/rags and noone ever came in 4 daysband took our used towels and rags

You get what you pay for.

Went for the weekend and wanted to be to stay on budget. We chose this location bc of the pool areas and it was in a good location. Definitely recommend reading reviews. Pros: staff was very nice. The building looked good and checking in wasn’t bad either. They do have a good concept and good location. I did enjoy the simplicity of it and how laid back the environment was there. Also, the other guests were very friendly and down to earth. The fridge and microwave was very clean. Cons: the room could have used a little dining table or something in that sort so my children could have somewhere to sit down and eat instead of the beds and using the side table. Shower had no water pressure and wouldn’t stay a steady temperature. I almost burned myself and had to assist my children so they didn’t get burned by the water. Toilet struggled with flushing. I did find a dead roach MASHED into the wall. I cleaned it off the best I could but he really became one with the wall. (Glad I had Lysol and Lysol wipes) Never saw any live ones or anymore carcasses. Light fixture was showing junction box in bathroom. Beds wasn’t bad but they wasn’t that great either. Overall it was an average to low quality stay.

I have stayed here many times over the years, this stay was my first time since last year and I can say this property has went down hill. I will never be back. The pool was dirty- it was greenish; bugs, leaves, and the indoor slide had a broken beam- the property staff even after telling them about the broken slide they did not close/shut down the slide. The room my family and I stayed in smelt like dog pee and had three softball size holes in it. The shower did not work properly; no towels (even after requesting some; property staff told us; sorry they are dirty and ran out of laundry soap!!) The beds were nasty; another guest said she had been there 5 days and she had bites all over her arm/legs/feet- she said she is not sure what they are from
 If you are still here I am sure you’re following me and know where the bites are from!! Needless to say we packed up prior to staying that one night; and had to buy another hotel- Riverchase would not offer refund- anything even after telling them the situation. Nothing was offered!! Had to come back and check out Sunday! If you want to do yourself and your family a favor; save your money and pay extra and enjoy your stay!! Pictures posted are a scam and fake!??

The pool is AMAZING but they need to chill on the chlorine. It burned my eyes to where I couldn’t sit for more than 10 mins from the hot tub.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Longtime Guest Extremely Disappointed I have been coming to this hotel for over 10 years. It used to be a place we looked forward to every single year—clean, family-friendly, and well-managed. Unfortunately, the last two years have been a complete disappointment, and this most recent visit will be our last unless major changes are made. To begin with, the Wi-Fi did not work at all during our stay, which made it difficult to manage even basic things. We also had a serious leak in our room that left our entire floor soaking wet for all four days—completely unacceptable. On top of that, the slides, once a highlight of the property, were so damaged they were cutting kids’ feet. Several families had similar complaints. That’s a major safety hazard that should have already been addressed. Worse, one of the staff members falsely accused our girls of misbehavior in the pool area. Not only was it untrue, but the situation was handled in a very unprofessional and accusatory manner. The overall cleanliness of the hotel has gone drastically downhill, and it seems like standards across the board have dropped. I regret not reading the recent reviews ahead of time—it’s clear this property has gone from a 5-star destination to barely hanging on to 2 stars. Came in to get registered and the smell of chlori e could knock you over it was so strong. We get to the room and it was not as the pictures showed! Mildew smell and roaches crawling on the walls and in the shower. Had to stick it out cause it was non refundable. Will not be staying again.

The night staff was extremely difficult, we traveled with family and had 3 rooms booked. We requested to be next to each other and were told the hotel is completely booked and they could not accommodate our request. Ended up with 1 family on 2nd story, 2nd family on the 3rd floor and the rest of us on the completely otherside of the property. The AC did not work in our room and asked to be moved, the front desk made smart remarks to me about checking if the unit was even plugged in, I told her I think the unit has a short and maintenance should take a look at the unit, she said, well did you look at it? She eneded up moving us to another room a few doors down. The next morning, we decided to leave early, we walked up to the 3rd floor where our family was at and noticed more then half the rooms were not being used. It was obvious because the curtains were open and beds were made in atleast 8 rooms on that floor. I understand that hotel is a little out dated and we expected that. But we didn't expect the poor service which make us not want to stay at the hotel again and would NOT recommend due to poor customer service/hospitality.

This hotel at one time was probably amazing! But it is so run down and unkept now. The pool room was dirt (as was the rest of the hotel) I mean minimal cleaning. The pool had cigarettes in the bottom of it. Needs maintenance work on top of the cleaning part. There’s so many other options I would never recommend this one!

The bed was horribly uncomfortable. The staff was not very friendly, pool was not open for the original hours and overall not a very nice place to stay.

Very disappointed family

Booked this room as a last minute one night stay. The first room we got was terrible. The room had an awful smell and stained comforter on the bed. Changed to another room with the same bad smell and flies in the sink. Changed one last time and the same awful smell was there. As we drove past the outdoor pool, it was green with ducks in it. They would not give us even a partial refund. They told us there was one more room to try. We left and stayed somewhere else. Very disappointed with this hotel. We took a pic of the outside with broken window covered with what looks like a mattress.
