The first thing the desk attendant said to me
When we arrived was âDonât expect the Taj MajalâŠâ
That was the first red flag.
Went up to the room on the top floor. First thing we noticed was the carpet was dirty. The room was not marked so we could find it but figured out where it was but the key didnât work. We went back down to speak to the desk attendant. He wasnât there but left a number. We call and He had gone up and open the room. He came back down re keyed. We went back up got in the room but no lights. Found the lamp was unplugged. As Iâm plugging it in Iâm hit with an overwhelming smell of old urine coming from the carpet between the beds. It smell of human urine. The we noticed the sheets were stained and gross looking. We went down to talk to him and when we came up with clean sheets my niece pointed out all the bugs on the ceiling. The desk attendant showed up with a steam cleaner to clean the carpet but we already decided we could not stay there. We pointed out the bugs and his response was they were âMountain Bugsâ that show up every October. Well Iâm not staying or paying for room with bugs! He showed us another room after a cancellation but it had bugs too! We left and by the grace of God we found a room 45 mins away in the direction we were traveling.
Of course he still charged me and Iâm disputing. I took photo documentation.
