The staff was nice. The communication is a little bit hard but it’s understandable since English or Spanish is not they’re primary language. One thing I had trouble with is that the air conditioner was not working. It would not turn on because it had a lock on it. I went to the front desk to ask about it and they said that there was no air conditioner because of the winter season. I understand that it’s cold outside but it’s really hot on the room to the point that I was sweating all over and had to open the window. Some people just like to be Fresh and cold even if it’s cold outside. Is just preference and it should not be up to the hotel to decide how they want the temperature on the room.

Very close to the train station and a stroll to the shops. Pleasant room and extensive breakfast.

Reception staff was rather crude and abrupt. I don’t expect everyone to speak English but I expect some manners. Hotel never responded to several of my requests for a twin room. Poor communications

Good hotel for a good price
Posted Dec. 4, 2023 on HotelsLocation not far from the train station, down a side street, decent hotel, decent room for the price. Host and welcome was reasonable. Breakfast good with proper coffee! Would visit again

Booked for one night for my daughter. Neither the taxi driver or my daughter could enter the hotel safely. There were men outside threatening them both verbally and even physically. Attempted to call the front desk for help escorting her in. No one picked up the phone at the hotel . The taxi driver was so concerned he offered to drive her to another hotel…For Free! The hotel then refused to cancel her reservation & refund. Wow!

great position near centre
Posted Oct. 29, 2023 on HotelsVery near the central station it was also just a short walk to the city centre and the leaning tower. They are strict about only checking in after 2pm so dont arrive early but we were allowed to sit in the lounge for 30 mins until it was time to check in, our room was clean and comfortable, good bed and shower . Breakfast had a good choice and plenty available. The only slight niggle was that the receptionist was very brusque and abrupt but apart from that we really enjoyed our stay

Sometimes, in times of large influx of tourists, it may happen that the receptionist has to deal more quickly with the customers and this can be interpreted by the more sensitive customers as a lack of courtesy or a somewhat abrupt attitude.
