The actual inside was decent. Shower stall was pretty cramped and im not a big person. The bed was terrible though felt like it sagged in the middle and i didnt sleep great because I felt like i was climbing a mountain all night. The location is convenient but in kind of a dumpy neighborhood. The back porch was seemingly filled with trash which wasn't a huge deal but was kind of unsightly. The parking was okay... I was assuming it was a private drive it was not. It was street parking which took us a few trips around the block to locate a decent spot close to the house.Overall i would say great in a pinch if you need somewhere close to downtown or north shore to stay. I dont think.i'll be staying here again though. It wasn't terrible just not comfortable.
This rental did the job for a short stay away from home. The neighborhood seems a little sketchy but overall fine. That didnât bother us much. The only thing I did not like was the shower stall. It was tiny n I felt like I needed shower shoes. We did not use any appliances in the kitchen. Just the fridge n ironâboth worked fine. WiFi was good. .
To start off - the property is wonderful, sure it's not the PERFECT stay, but I was pleasantly surprised by the interior relative to the neighborhood (more on this later). Overall: 8/10. I didn't have any major issues.
The neighborhood, while close, is not all that "safe feeling". I lived in Pittsburgh for 5 years and never made it out to this neighborhood (which should tell you something). I would not stay here without a rental car or another person.
That being said, the place was well taken care of. The lighting on the interior makes it feel a lot more upscale than in reality (largely due to Pittsburgh being hard on properties in general). Bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, parking was free, the laundry machines worked well. There was a slight flooding issue, but that was also due to Pittsburgh weather conditions at the time. The owner also took care of it within 24 hours.
