Free breakfast is available daily. WiFi is free in public spaces. Traveler's Rest Hotel also features gift shops/newsstands, coffee/tea in a common area, and laundry facilities.
Our stay at Travelerâs Rest was exceptional. The hotel boasts a distinctive charm, offering a unique and memorable experience. A complimentary breakfast was provided each morning in the common area, adding to the convenience of our stay. Its prime location allowed for easy access to numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance, while most major attractions were just a 10- to 15-minute drive away. I would stay here again in the future.
Beautiful âboutiqueâ hotel, in a wonderfully reconditioned 1800âs building. Exceptionally friendly and helpful service, and a location that puts you a quick drive (or hearty walk) away from Pittsburghâs downtown entertainment district. Highly recommended!
The self check-in was very well organized and convenient. The breakfast in the common space was excellent. Beds were comfortable and spaces were clean. We really enjoyed the unique aesthetic of the building and rooms! We walked back from downtown area at night and would just caution to use the 10th bridge at night because the surrounding area is not very populated.
I loved staying at the Travelers Rest! The bed was very comfortable and quiet. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. I loved interacting with them and the other guests in the living room area. The kitchen is equipped with coffee/tea, muffins, yogurt, eggs, fruit, etc. We stayed at a corporate hotel the night before which was double the price we paid at the TR and it wasnât worth it although they were very nice too. No continental breakfast, and the bed was not as comfortable as the TR bed.
I highly recommend the Travelers Rest and I will definitely stay there again!!!
Thank you Marybeth and Paul awesome job, well done â€ïž
We had a wonderful time at travelers rest! Paul was great, the atmosphere was low key and we felt welcomed. There were some really cool systems they had set up to be ecological and to provide ease and freedom to their guest. It was great!
We really liked the Traveler's Rest Hotel - but it's definitely atypical, so if you prefer chain hotels, this is not for you. In a carefully restored historic building with lots of character, Traveler's Rest feels a little more like a large bed & breakfast. Our bathroom was a short walk down the hall - but it was private, and sparklingly clean. Breakfast is in a shared common room (like a large living room) with lots of food choices, good coffee, and friendly conversation.
Great place to stay! The room and bathroom are spick and span. The communal space/living area is beautiful and comfortable. Paul was very responsive. Iâd love to come back and bring my bike next time.
