Nice place in Placencia
Posted Mar. 11, 2024 on HotelsGreat place to stay other than the mattress, which is super hard. We were unable to sleep well on it. The pool is really small, but nice. The beach is beautiful and there are always beach chairs available. The bistro was really good and convenient with friendly service. I would go back if they got some foam mattress toppers.

Thank you for your review and so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay in beautiful Belize. Our mattresses are all Belizean made and replaced in the last year. They do have a built in pillow top, and we sincerely apologize that you prefer a softer mattress.

Great staff - friendly, happy, helpful.
Great restaurant - "The Bistro". You need to make a reservation for dinner as it is very popular and guests come from all over the area!
Our room was the lower suite in the "Flip Flop Palace". It had a full kitchen, so if you wanted to prepare your own meals, you totally could! (but the restaurant food was so good, we never did!!) It is worth a drive (taxi) to Placencia to get groceries etc as the nearest one is very expensive.
They have 4 bicycles, but none have carriers, so you need to take a backpack if you want to bring supplies back.
Tours are out of Placencia (20 min away). The resort used "Go Sea" tours.
Lower unit was noisy as you can hear the people above you.
Beach is so close you feel like you walk out of your door and step right onto the beach! So close! We loved it!
