I had a wonderful stay at Antera!!! The staff was exceptional! Everyone was very friendly & helpful with any questions I had. The hotel was very clean & decorated very nice for Christmas! They also accommodated by late check out request & they stored my bags until it was time for me to leave. The rooftop pool was quiet & relaxing & it was located close to everything! Beach, shopping, great restaurants off 5th was perfect for me! I’ll definitely return!

Our bed was soaked in urine and we had to ask for a different room. The bar next door is extremely loud until 5 am so it’s next to impossible to sleep even with earplugs. The hot water was very spotty and the breakfast that you pay extra for is overpriced for what you get and not really worth it.

We loved the setup of the rooms and the location of the hotel. We had a room on the first floor with a little patio facing a beautiful courtyard. Only drawback was that you could hear the neighbors in the upstairs scraping the furniture a lot all day. Otherwise great room, we had the 2 bedrooms setup. Very spacious, beautiful furniture. I wish they would provide dish soap and detergent for dishwasher.there was also a washing machine and dryer. That was great! Cleaning was very basic, but they came every day, so that was nice. The roof top is beautiful. There are 2 areas with roof top pool. We spent plenty of time there. There is plenty to do around, really good places to eat and beach is one block. We hope to be back!

Overall the stay at Antera was great. Check-in was easy and fast. The type of suite reserved was not available so they gave a suite with an extra bedroom. Good: The views of the street were great for watching the street activity Large windows & bright Large living room area with dining table The suite was clean, the appliances were quality, and the furniture was quality Air conditioning was excellent Did not hear any noise from the other units Security at the exit/entrance to the hotel Location is great Inconvenient: No key cards, physical keys Bad: The bed, my feet were much higher than my head so it was sloped down towards the headboard. I had to sleep with my head at the foot of the bed due to reflux One night there was strong sewer smell from the bathroom & closing the door mitigated the issue. Next day I saw a hydrovac truck on the street so probably was a city sewer issue Weird: The ground floor is 0 & the next floor up is 1. Where I am from ground floors are 1. If you take the stairs you have to ensure you are on the correct floor otherwise you may accidentally enter the wrong suite. Out Antera's control: Very loud music from nearby bar until 4am. Building under construction across 10th ave so a lot of noise. It is several floor higher so it overlooks Antera & blocked the sun on my private rooftop for part of the morning. It would not affect the shared pool/lounge area.

The residential suites were amazing. We had two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a beautiful kitchen and a very nice living room. Sadly, the kitchen did not come equipped with the toaster, which I feel is a must and any kitchen property the pool but there were no steps to climb in and out of the pool so for someone with accessibility issues that might be a deterrent

The room was average (phone was broken, balcony door would not lock), but hotel is in a good location for restaurants. You have to sleep with earplugs every night. The noise from the clubs is ridiculously loud until 3:00 A.M. You can also hear neighbors from the other rooms in the breezeways and on their balconies.

I've stayed at many places in Playa, the Antera is #1 by far. Convenient location, very clean, modern apperance, fully stocked kitchen with all the necessities, great bed with decent pillows, truly felt like a step above the rest.

The property and room itself was great! Really happy with the facilities, layout and overall experience. However, location means that it’s quite noisy until about 3/4am. Something to be aware of when booking but otherwise, will happily return for another stay in the future!

The apartment I stayed in was beautiful. My only complaint is that the swimming pool is built in such a way that it is very difficult to get in and get out. There are no stairs or a ladder to get in and there is cement all around. If you jump in and have to climb out on cement, you can scrape your knees.

We stayed in a two bedroom residence and it was very comfortable. The hotel is only a few blocks from the beach and it is near many restaurants and the pier where you catch the ferry to Cozumel. The rooftop pools are very nice as is the bar. Our only complaint is the tepid water temperature of the shower.
