The food was very good with a large variety. We did not use the buffet other than one day of breakfast. It was okay. As always in Mexico the staff was above and beyond!! Check in was a little odd. They had forms only in Spanish they wanted me to sign. I understand we were in a foreign country but have to presume they are catering to a large English only speaking population. All in all we will be back to this resort!

I recently stayed at Devossion by Live Aqua, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While the rooms were clean, they were noticeably small and not what I expected for the price. The food was another major letdown very poor quality and extremely limited variety. The buffet was honestly one of the smallest I’ve ever seen at a hotel of this category. On top of that, the pool menu and room service menu were practically identical, offering little to no additional options. What frustrated me the most was the pricing issue. I booked and agreed to a specific price in US dollars, but upon arrival, I was charged a different amount. The explanation given was a change in conversion rates, but that simply shouldn’t apply when the reservation was confirmed in USD. If a guest agrees to a price in US dollars, that should be the exact amount charged. Overall, the hotel felt boring and lacked entertainment or activities. I stayed over the weekend and was shocked by the complete absence of any entertainment once the pool closed. I wouldn’t necessarily mind a quieter atmosphere, but the hotel markets itself as a “celebration” hotel yet there is no real entertainment team or organized evening activities to support that claim. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this property based on my experience.

Ocean and pool view, but on one side of the hotel there is a beach club that is extremely noisy. We had to ask for a change of room. Anyone booking should make sure to ask for the quieter side. I think they should have to disclose how loud that one side is.

We enjoyed the devotion suite, except for the blasting music from next door during the beach club!! Staff with a tentative to our needs. If you want premium liquor you better watch them , pour it.... That was the only downfall. Also done book a fishing trip.As you might not go and you won't get your money back...

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with great service and some of the best room cleanliness I’ve experienced. The pool and beach are excellent as well. When it comes to the food, I would personally prefer less variety and a higher overall standard. They really do try very hard, but as someone who has stayed at Live Aqua in Cancun, the food there is significantly better. For example, at the steakhouse the filet and the burger were excellent, while the New York strip steak was poorly trimmed and simply not edible. Another example is that whenever I ordered raw fish, except for specific dishes at the Japanese restaurant it had been sitting in lemon for far too long and arrived overly cured rather than fresh and vibrant, which was disappointing. Once you learn what’s good at each restaurant and which dishes are handled properly, you can definitely enjoy the dining experience but it does take some time to figure that out. The alcohol is excellent, the service is good, and the selection is great. For anyone who isn’t particularly foodie-oriented, I would definitely recommend coming.

Everything about this resort stood out from the moment we walked in until it was time for us to leave. Staff was so friendly and helpful the concierge service, the valet people, the room service people the restaurant people the pool attendance. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. We were very pleased.

It’s a beautiful property. The staff was great although, my friend did have a few problems at check in and check out with one in particular lady. Make sure to keep all your receipts if you happen to buy anything and pay for at the time and not charge to the room. Other than that we had a wonderful time!

Spotless, outstanding location and staff. The drinks were well done and it was easy to find a chair by the pool or the beach. The food might seem limited to some, I don’t need a constant smorgasbord. Lots of variety- wood fired pizza, pasta, salads, made to order by the pool or beach. there was definitely lots of fish and seafood-. Everything I had was yummy and lots of grilled veggies which I love. . The steakhouse was excellent! Our room was gorgeous and we were upgraded to an even better suite during our stay. Then, if you want a break from the gorgeous beach, you are two blocks from a vibrant area of town. Live music, performers and shopping. Love this resort and the location!
