We were happy with this accommodation, better than what could be expected from a two star hotel. Staff assisted when asked and greeted us daily. you need a vehicle to get any where. There are a few food places close by, and a small grocery store. As is typical for the islands expect noise from roasters and dogs. Overall I would recomend this place to friends

Great place to stay!!

Staff was very friendly, accommodations were clean and neat, appliances worked perfectly, pool and hot tub were clean everyday. Great location to see Basse-Terre island. Free parking for your rented car (which you will need to see the island). We were in a Studio with a kitchenette. Bigger grocery store was about 20 minutes away. only 15 minutes to Deshae (where they filmed Death in Paradise). We had a great time.

Spotless safe accessible

Point d'argent is a lovely fishing one horse village. Easy walk over hill to beach easy drive to Deshaies or point noir. Clean pool, hot tub, quiet. No breakfast or coffee and none in town, no way to cook in room. Good meal provided if ordered in evening. No fresh towels, hard to dry them in damp weather, no wash clothes. Lovely facilities, very thoughtful wheel chair accessibility. I would return in an instant.

Memphis TN to a paradise island

This is a great hotel and I would stay here again. Great service, great location to experience the island, and super staff. Brush up on your French, and bring your own mosquito repellent.

Pros: Nice staff Small pool Small parking lot Inexpensive Cons: Not enough staff They serve dinner but it's not great Very basic, no real amenities Weak wifi Overall this place was fine. We were looking for a place to stay en route to somewhere else, and since it was a late booking we didn't have many options. It served its purpose and was inexpensive. Wouldn't go back if I could avoid it.

Bonne Petite semaine en famille, l endroit est sympa dans un petit village de pêcheurs, proche des locaux. Les petits déjeuner copieux et top !!! Les deux seuls points que je relèverais sont la piscine pas assez propre à mon goût et les matelas trop durs pour moi mais ça c est plus le ressenti personnel !!! Sinon bien pour un coût totalement abordable !!!!

hôtel correct pour un passage éclair

Malgré un personnel accueillant, et un mail de confirmation de réservation la veille, nous avons récupéré une chambre avec 4 couchages pour 5 personnes. on nous a solutionné le problème en nous proposant 2 chambres et nous avons récupéré notre chambre pour 5, 2 nuits plus tard. On a constaté que l'hôtel était vieillissant, et manque d'entretien, le personnel est absent la nuit et très discret... dommage car c'est un lieu qui a du potentiel. nous avons passé une semaine, il reste correct pour un deux étoiles, sans plus.

Après avoir prévenu la veille de notre heure d'arrivée, 1h30 d'attente ds la voiture (pour ne pas ns faire dévorer par les nombreux moustiques) sur le parking de l'hôtel avec 1 petite de 3 ans. Ns avons juste le tps de constater la saleté de la piscine, dont le fond est marron par endroits. Après avoir été informée par quelqu'un de l'arrivée d'1 autre cliente, la patronne, qui gère cet hôtel sans aucun réceptionniste en son absence, arrive la bouche en coeur et s'étonne de mon énervement dû à son retard. Elle me propose 1 chambre avc 2 lits jumeaux complètement défaits, puis 1 chambre double minuscule alors que ns avons réservé 1 chambre double avc coin salon/kitchenette. Elle n'est pas au courant alors je lui ai donné le récapitulatif de ma réservation à mon arrivée. Sans aucun embarras, elle me propose alors 1 chambre non nettoyée puis disparaît un long moment. Ns partons à sa recherche en vain puis décidons d'appeler Hôtels.com pour demander un relogement car la nuit tombe et les hôtels alentour sont pleins. Après 3 longues heures d'attente (avec pipi et changement de vêtements sur le parking pour ma fille à cause des nombreux moustiques) sans aucune proposition de dédommagement ni même de boisson pour ma fille, 1 charmante hôtesse anglophone d'hôtels.com ns trouve la seule chambre disponible dans 1 hôtel du coin. Entre temps, nous avons croisés de rares clients (l'hôtel est vide) qui se plaignent de la saleté de leur chambre et de la piscine.

La cuisine est bonne et raffinée. Etant végétarien j'ai néanmoins trouvé qu'il y a trop de produits carnés et pas assez de légumes et fruits de Guadeloupe. C'est malheureusement comme ça dans presque tous les restaurant en Guadeloupe. Merci Etsi pour tes explications sur la coupe et l'ouverture des noix de coco ! Tu m'a fait rentrer dans les traditions Guadeloupéennes authentiques. La climatisation fonctionne bien dans la chambre principale.

Nous sommes arrivés un soir "sans diner". Au vu de notre déception, la propriétaire nous a très gentiment proposé de nous préparer un plat de poisson qui s'est avéré délicieux.
