Enjoy lodge style private luxury with a secluded beach and cove.

The rental space occupies the lower beach level of this beautiful European Lodge style home on the lake at the end of Finley Point . It features sweeping views of Flathead Lake, the Mission Mountains, Wild horse Island, and the Bird Islands. This 1700+ sq. ft. space features two lakeside bedrooms and two full baths/showers with the ability to sleep four. The two bedroom space includes a cozy media room with wood burning fireplace, private outdoor stone patio with gas grill/comfy seating and just a few steps to about 1000 ft of private shoreline featuring a secluded pebbled cove.
**(There is an option to rent an additional 600 sq. ft. third bedroom for two additional guests with lake view, full bath/shower, kitchenette, walk-in closet, and seating area. This bedroom will not be rented separately.)
The property includes a tennis court with basketball hoop and table and chairs, 2 lakeside decks, 2 lake view patios, private forested 10 acres with orchard and miles of walking, running and biking opportunities on Finley Point. It is approximately 10 min. drive to two of Polson's best restaurants, a 20 minute drive to Polson, 45 minutes to Bigfork, 60 minutes to Kalispell, and 90 minutes to Whitefish or Glacier National Park. This truly unique property is shared with homeowners occupying the upper level and is impeccably decorated in European lodge style. The rental space is accessed through separate entrances requiring a walk down a stone path. Please see photos for images of the path as it is not well suited for those with limited mobility. The quoted rate is only for rental of the two bedroom space and will be adjusted upward accordingly if the additional third bedroom suite is added. Contact owner for details on renting the third ensuite bedroom and bath.
The private lakeside decks are the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee/evening cocktails, sunsets , and star gazing. Whether you're looking for a private romantic getaway, nonstop family fun, or a couples' reunion, this is it. Take the four kayaks with life jackets and a picnic to the Bird islands ( about a half mile) for a fun adventure. As hosts we love the unique privacy and character our property has and our guests over the years seem to agree.

Heavenly hideaway

Bob and Barb are wonderful hosts, ensuring eveything worked well, providing advice and ideas. The place was very clean and larger / more accommodating than anticipated. Wildlife was abundant from waterfowl and deer to the bear we sighted coming up the road to the location. We will definitely be coming back!

Fantastic Hosts

Excellent stay all around. Barb and Bob were great hosts and we had everything we needed. The only item of note is that it's definitely off the beaten path. It is about 25 minutes from a grocery store, and cell service isn't the best. Why would you want to be on your cell phone with world class views though? We would stay here again for sure.

Absolute Gem

Truly do not know where to begin. This home is truly magnificent and the owners, Bob and Barb, could not be more welcoming. The location of this home is so beautiful, serene, tranquil and full of wildlife (bears, deer, birds, squirrels). The views of the sunrise and sunset from the dock are incredible. The home offers every amenity; you will want for nothing. There are kayaks, flotation devices, fishing poles. Inside the home, there is every kitchen and bathroom amenity needed. The home is also filled with an array of amazing books to read. Truly cannot say enough about this VRBO. We will most definitely be back again soon.

Perfect location and getaway

This is a beautiful property in a wonderful spot on Flathead Lake that made for a perfect long weekend getaway. The owners were very helpful and accommodating before and during our stay which made it even better! The location on Finley Point was private, the accommodations were 5-star, and it had a spectacular view of the lake from the back patio and beach area. We hope to return in the future!

Beautiful home & scenery

The home was beautiful and we had a great vacation. Barb & Bob we’re great hosts, making sure we had all we needed and then some! The kids enjoyed the beach area, searching & skipping rocks like crazy. Kayaks were available and an adventurous trip to nearby islands was had. They played basketball & tennis everyday on the property. There were plenty of amenities for us to cook & the private patio and grilling area went to good use. Overall it was a very peaceful and wonderful place to stay.

Idyllic

While we wanted to visit this area to see Glacier National Park, my most vivid memory is relaxing on the patio of this beautiful home, listening to the waves off of Flathead Lake lap onto the shore, and watching the local deer wander around the property foraging for food. The hosts, Barb and Bob, could not have been any more welcoming and accommodating, providing everything from a different skillet so we could make omelets, to the use of their kayaks to tour the lake. They even provided a tour of the lake on their boat. While the hikes we took in the park were incredible with the grandeur of the lakes, waterfalls, and mountains, this wonderful location was worth the trip on its own.

Incredible vacation on Finley Point

You can not choose a better place to stay when visiting Flathead Lake. This home has everything you could need and more. The views are amazing from every bedroom and dock. It is extremely peaceful and plenty to do right from the house such as kayaking, swimming, skipping rocks, hiking, cliff jumping, tennis and more. There are four kayaks for the guests to use and a boat tour with Bob is a must! There are many activities within an hour of the house such as Glacier, white water rafting, mountain biking, hiking and more. But you can easily spend a week just at the house! Thank you Barb and Bob for providing us a much needed week of rest and relaxation!
