The room was well presented, but limited amenities -tea and coffee, jug only - no toaster. Reception was at the hotel 200m away and the signage was poor.

There is no reception. You need to go to the hotel 200 mts down the street. There is a sign with no phone number. The person we delt with at the hotel, wanted to charge us again. She asked to see my receipt from Expedia.com.au and my bank statement. She then wanted to me to pay her directly. She could not see our booking from her business end. We did book the same afternoon we wanted to stay. Finally she checked her emails and found our booking. Very very messy situation. This all took half an hour. For this reason. I would not stay again. The room was pleasantly comfortable. There is no hair dryer.
