Beach Front Home on Cape San Blas

Get ready for a wonderful, relaxing vacation in this gulf front home.... We welcome you to Sand Dollars and Sunsets (previously Miss B Haven). This 3 bedroom home is perfect for a family getaway with its large, open, fully equipped kitchen... comfortable bedrooms and spacious living areas. The views are amazing and the location is terrific! Just stroll down our short boardwalk and enjoy!


Ground Floor has an outdoor shower with covered parking area. There is the ground foyer entry.


1st floor has a King bedroom that has views of the gulf. Full bathroom in the hall (shower tub combo). Bedroom 2 down the hall on the bay side has 2 Queen Beds. At the end of the hall is the master king bedroom with a private master bathroom.


Top floor has the spacious living area with a Sleeper Sofa, well equipped kitchen, dining, 1/2 bath, and laundry room.


Sand Dollars and Sunsets has large decks to soak up those hot sunny rays! There is an enclosed outdoor shower to rinse off after your day at the beach.


Your family pet will also love Sand Dollars and Sunsets!

Great beach front rental with wonderful gulf views! The home was clean with ample space for our family. We took advantage of the 250 beach gear rental credit and enjoyed a kayak and 2 beach bikes. Plenty of other beach toys at the rental for kiddos, but no beach chairs. I would recommend bringing your own or renting them with your credit. A sidenote for fisherman: the boardwalk to the beach is narrow in spots making it a tight fit getting a beach cart down and around the corners. We managed, but it was a bit of a pain. Overall, we loved the rental, but just wish the boardwalk was more accommodating for fisherman.

Some small issues

Dog friendly rentals should not have all them rugs in every room and hallway. All of the rugs there had been urinated on by dogs and smelled really bad. Look to of never been washed before. Home furniture is very dated. Beds were uncomfortable. Ramp to the water was to narrow for cart.

Location was great, but Property was dirty and not maintained well


The Location is absolutely great. Beautiful Sunsets, Nice Beach. The Property itself was dirty, the 3rd level deck had broken furniture, torn floppy screens and some of the ceiling vinyl siding had fallen to the floor. You couldn’t get a clear picture of the ocean because of all the build up on the glass doors. Kitchen table chairs are wobble and LR furniture and pillows stained. The outside shower was full of debris. The property needs a deep cleaning, furniture replacement and maintenance to the walkways. This could have easily been a 5 star but at best my stay was only a 2.

Great Stay

We had a great experience. The place was comfy, the setting was fantastic, and the weather (not that they can actually control that, ha) was fabulous. They reeeeally like their sea turtles. Beach was lovely.

Beautiful Home....... but

This is a absolutely beautiful house and nicely decorated. The dishwasher does NOT work. They have a new one that was post marked still new in the box for June. They are aware this dishwasher doesn’t work but apparently the agency the owner uses won’t have it installed because of the 37 steps it will take to climb to get it installed. I had to hand wash everything and we cook a lot of meals. I didn’t want to spend hours washing dishes every day. The bed in the master bedroom was the worst bed I have ever slept on on the 53 years I’ve been alive. It was kin to sleeping on a brick frame and a piece of hard wood. The rugs if they were turned over were covered in dog urine and feces. I actually washed 4 rugs that were on the second floor and top floor landing. I paid a pet fee and cleaning fee. Obviously that’s just extra money not going to thoroughly clean everything from prior pet visits. There are 37 steps to the top floor which is where the kitchen, dining room and living room is. Wasn’t a game changer for us but would imagine someone with a bum knee or older pet would have a bad time of it. Overall this vacation house has a lot of minuses considering for what you pay for. I at least expect clean rugs, a working dishwasher and a bed that you can actually sleep on.

Great for families! Not for senior citizens!

Loved this home! It is not senior citizen friendly however. My mother-in-law, who is 74 yrs old, was in constant pain from the stairs. I thought the master bedroom was on the same level as the kitchen and living room. It was not. She had to go upstairs to the kitchen and down stairs to go outside. Now, for healthy family members and kids, it is perfect. Close to the beach, a wonderful screened in porch and beautiful view. I would stay there again.

Great for families! Not for senior citizens!

Great location. Beautiful home. Close to sand and ocean. There are a lot of steps in the home (and no elevator). My 74 year old mother-in-law stayed in pain from the constant walking up and down the stairs, so I would not recommend this home unless your ok with stairs. Otherwise, it's perfect and I would stay there again.

Nice gulf front home.

Great view from this gulf front home. Enjoyed having both a screened in and open deck. Seems very well built and road was paved all the way to the driveway.

Missing Miss B Haven already

Beautiful beachfront home with gorgeous views. Clean, White, sandy beaches. Very private every time we've been. We have stayed at this house on 3 separate occasions and this house never disappoints! Wonderful open kitchen and living area very inviting for the whole family to gather toget Multiple decks. Outdoor shower and water spickets to wash off the sand when coming in from the beach, which makes it easy to keep the house free from sand. Trading Post is within walking distance and you can get just about everything you'll need during your stay right down the street. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning to Miss B Haven ASAP!

Spacious home right on the beach

Easy check-in, comfy beds, nice kitchen 3 flights of stairs to kitchen (haul groceries up 3 flights of stairs - might be worth ordering grocery delivery) 1.5 flights of stairs to get to beach This didn’t bother us but I expect babies, toddlers, elderly, and bad knees would not enjoy this

The location was perfect. Great porches to enjoy the view. The house had everything we needed for our stay. Plenty of room inside to spread out. We recommend this for couples to large families. You won't be disapointed

Perfect location beautiful view

We enjoyed our stay at Miss B Gaven very much! The only real issue we had was blocking off the stair opening on upstairs area for our “almost walking” very adventurous granddaughter. The house was very clean and located on a wonderful area of the beach. The views from all porches were spectacular! I would caution anyone with mobility issues that there are a number of stairs within the house. As always, the week went by way too fast!
