Great place if there had been better communication
This was a lovely studio, exactly like the pictures. Super bright and cozy! But the check-in process was quite stressful. For one thing, there was no contact number which caused a lot of issues when we arrived at the lockbox and found it empty with no key in it. We had no way of contacting the property manager to ask where the key was. Fortunately, we were able to take an Uber to a friendâs house where I connected to wifi and started a chat with VRBO who found a number for the manager. After that, it was explained to me that the reason the key wasnât there yet was because I hadnât paid the damage deposit yet, even though I had. I had received an email that morning at 11:00 to pay the damage deposit, but because we were travelling I had no way to see that email until later that afternoon. I had paid the damage deposit at 3:00 pm, but by 6:00 when we arrived at the lockbox, there was still no key and no way to contact the manager to ask what had happened. Overall, it would have been a much better experience if there had been contact info for the concierge, so that when we ran into trouble we could speak with a person right away and get it sorted out. Also, there were no toiletries even though the listing said there would be (things like shampoo, body wash, etc. we had to go out and buy some) and the sheets were not the right size for the bed, so my husbandâs feet were lying against the bare mattress at the bottom of the bed, and no pillowcases provided for the extra pillows. Just some weird quirky things that could easily be fixed next time. If these issues are fixed, then the place is beautiful otherwise and we really did enjoy our stay!
