Where to begin with how amazing this hotel and its staff are. Upon arrival we were offered a delicious Kopke ruby port as the head receptionist checked us in. Our room accommodations were amazing as well and were very spacious and clean. We reserved a room with terrace overlooking the Douro and were just in awe. All the amenities were so useful including Nespresso maker, towel warmer, Bluetooth speaker system and amazing night time turn down service. One of the best add ons was definitely the breakfast. So many delicious options and made to order eggs every staff member made our stay feel like home. Lastly but most importantly the staff member that created a new friendship. At the hotel bar Diogo shared his wine knowledge and kind Portuguese hospitality making us feel like a local, his mixology creations as well as delicious suggestions kept us coming back night after night for a late night finishing drink and great conversation of Portuguese culture. Christmas was so much more magical in Porto because of this hotel and its staff including the live jazz on Friday nights. We will definitely be back in 2026!

Not enough adjectives to adequately describe how beautiful this property is, how fantastic the people and their incredible service, the great location - everything is 5 Star. I spent four nights and I will be back again soon. If you’re in Porto, for so many reasons, this is where you should stay.

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location. A quick 3 to 5 minute walk down to the river. The staff were very friendly, helpful and at your beck and call. I highly recommend this property. The tasting with wine pairing was absolutely fabulous. Book your stay you won’t regret it.

Its a beautiful hotel, the rooms were stunning - spacious, modern and facilities like wardrobe space, tea/coffee facilities and bathroom. Staff were excellent - very helpful with things to do, places to go and general information. The location was also great - lots of places to eat and drink around but equally easy to get to the city centre on foot. Although it 25 mins walking so not perhaps for everyones liking.

If you want a beautiful view of Porto this hotel is the right choice! The hotel is beautiful and all attractions, Restaurant’s, bars and sight seeing are just walking distance.
