Awesome suits by River. A great place to explore “adventure” Island. Host went the extra mile, answered all our questions and helped us get familiar with area. Great beach walking distance.

Un agréable séjour

La résidence est une magnifique maison d'un style indéfinissable (possiblement néocolonial) peinte de couleurs vives située à l'entrée de Portsmouth, sur un vaste terrain bordée d'une rivière cascadante. Le terrain mériterait d'être aménagé pour être plus agréable à l'oeil. L'environnent est très calme, dans une impasse, entre une petite résidence et un hôtel hélas un peu massif. Nous sommes restés une semaine dans la suite N°5, un appartement charmant, bien disposé, qui nous a séduit d'entrée. Nous nous y sommes tout de suite sentis très à l'aise. Très lumineux, il est doté d'une vaste terrasse donnant sur la rivière, et un mur de végétation, où il fait bon prendre l'apéritif en regardant la nuit tomber avec en arrière plan le bruit du torrent,...et des moustiques (proximité de l'eau oblige, prévoyez des vêtements amples) La suite est équipée de tout le nécessaire. En revanche tout est "dans son jus". Les équipements et la décoration sont quelle peu defraichis, mais tout est fonctionnel. Donc une suite très agréable, pratique et chaleureuse à condition de ne pas être à cheval sur les détails. Les propriétaires sont adorables très disponibles, et à l'écoute de leurs résidents. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour.
