But, the room needed a good paint. Shower needs the mould cleaned off to and the worst part was the mattress
Thankfully i got an extra duvet to use as a "topper" to try and get a few hours sleep in

Great pub, average hotel
Posted Dec. 4, 2023 on HotelsThis is a pub with a few rooms tacked on rather than a hotel. The food's good, the beers great, but the rooms are in need of a makeover: Drab and poorly maintained.

no more breakfast even though it shows as optional

It's a shame they stopped doing breakfast
This means it's unlikely I will stay again as it's sort of mandatory.

Was good very nice bar staff in pub very helpful room was ok but did not re plenty the coffee or supply a clean cup and could done with breakfast in morning even if it was Continental would been ok

On arrival, the room I was given, when opening the door, the bed /room had not been made up. However, when I went back to reception, I was immediately re-roomed and apologised to. So, no major drama.
