YELLOW ROOF B&B is a renovated two story century home located on the main street of Bloomfield. Single night stays are welcome. The private guest quarters is located upstairs and includes a renovated full bathroom with soaker tub, comfortable queen size bed, and small fridge. The house has central air as well as a separate air conditioner in the guest suite that guests can control for their own comfort. The back deck overlooks an above-ground saltwater pool & large peaceful yard that backs onto Mill Pond. A European-style Continental breakfast will be served every morning of your stay. We are just steps from the wonderful shops, studios, and restaurants located in Bloomfield. It is a short drive to beaches and wineries, or any other shopping, towns, and exploring you may wish to do and just a two minute walk to PEC shuttle services.

Our hostess was delightfully warm, kind and gracious in all aspects of our stay. From the time of our arrival until our departure the next morning after breakfast we felt at home and in a very relaxed environment. The personalized access to the front door was easy to remember, the private parking space was extremely convenient to load and unload our bags & accessories, and our bedroom/bathroom were situated in a private hallway upstairs. Our bedroom even included water, a refridgerator (if we wanted to use it) along with a fan and additional pillows and bedding for our ultimate comfort. Breakfast was wonderful!!! It was a beautiful Sunday at the end of September (2025) and we ate under the gazebo overlooking the pool and the long backyard which connected to a large pond at the end of the property. The weather was great and we didn't need to use the heater that was available if by chance we were at all chilly. The breakfast included locally sourced, farm-fresh eggs, 2 differnt fresh local jams, peanut butter, butter, yogurt, various kinds of fresh bread for our toast, 2 fresh croissants and a huge bowl of fresh, in-season fruit along with orange juice and bottomless freshly brewed coffee at our disposal. What a wonderful experience... Our next stay in Prince Edward County will definitely include another stay at the YELLOW ROOF B&B. Highly recommended 5-1/2 out of 5!!! Thank you Denise. (Tony & Lucia)

Fantastic stay in every way. Lovely, Clean and a great location close to everything in Bloomfield on the Main Street. It is also very close to the town of Picton, which is a very short 10 minute drive. Diane is marvellous and a wonderful informative host. Her breakfasts are so healthy and delicious as she prepares everything from scratch. The room is like having your own private wing. And Includes a washroom which was huge and very modern. We simply loved the accommodation. So I would highly recommend staying here. You won’t be disappointed and if it is during the summer you can even enjoy a dip in a saltwater backyard pool.

A delightful stay

The property was spacious and set in a large garden with a saltwater pool. The guest suite was private well decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was first class with ample fresh fruit, yogurt, cheeses, breads croissants home baked goods and homemade jams together with eggs from the host’s daughter’s hens. The host was helpful in suggesting places to visit and eat and when we lost an electronic device went out of her way to assist my wife and I even after we had left the area.

Charming home and surroundings

We enjoyed our stay so much. The house is absolutely beautiful and the backyard so private and peaceful. Denise is so lovely and gave us lots of help with our questions and suggestions. It was our first visit to PEC and we plan to be back!!

Unbelievably good

The owner of this property, and her visiting sister, were absolutely perfect for this position. We have never had more friendly hosts than we had at this visit. Everything was absolutely immaculate, the European continental breakfast was superb, and the pool was very refreshing. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Kudos to Denise and Susan.
