Lovely stay
Publié le 22 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayAlways a wonderful stay at this cabin- quiet, comfortable, with the beauty of the lake right outside. Reading and hikes during the day, watching the sunset and maybe a movie at night. The kitchen is simple but always seems to have what I need. This is my 3rd visit and I'll be coming back again!

Fishing trip

I didn’t enjoy the trail camera pointed directly at the door live streaming it felt a little bit of an invasion of privacy although I get it’s legal. Besides that it was very nice- whoever was there before didn’t make a mess but it hadn’t been cleaned there was still a trash can full, returnables, bedding overturned, etc. I took the trash from the previous renters and ours with me when I left.

Hi Zach, I am sorry that the camp was not cleaned when you arrived. It was a miscommunication with my cleaning person. This is the first time this has happened in the 5 years that I have been renting my camp. I wish you had called me, so that I could have addressed it as soon as you arrived. My cleaning folks are excellent as you can see from my previous reviews. Nevertheless I apologize and will refund your cleaning fee if you want. As far as the camera it is a still shot game camera not a live stream. The cell coverage in the area would not even allow for live stream. The camp is remote and it is there for security purposes it is noted in my rental agreement. I hope you caught some fish. Carol

Enjoyed our stay at Breezy Shores.
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayBreezy shores is a great little camp, right on the shoreline of West Grand Lake. The place was tidy and cozy for our early spring trip. The view of the lake was beautiful, and it's situated perfectly for seeing the sunset. It had everything you'd need for cooking, bathing and sleeping.It's a great place to unplug (Cell service is spotty, but you can easily drive down to the general store in town which has free wifi).
Carol the host was easy to communicate with and prompt in her responses. Great place if your looking for a classic lake cottage in Maine. I would recommend the place to anyone!

Cozy spot!
Publié le 5 déc. 2023 sur HomeAwayHad a lovely two night stay for a work trip nearby. Carol was very helpful and communicative, which was awesome for being in a remote area. The cabin had everything I needed to unplug and relax. Looking forward to coming back in summer time!

Quiet and comfy
Publié le 9 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayEnjoyed our stay at Breezy Shores. Beautiful setting right on the lake with gorgeous sunsets. Late season stay so very quiet neighborhood. Comfy beds all around. Great fishing and hunting nearby. Recommend this camp if you are looking for a gorgeous lake side experience in Maine with friends or family.
