We chose this location because it was short walking distance to town, and the view. However, there is so much construction right now that there is no view. This isn't the Lodge's issue. We also didn't pay extra for a room with the view, so we were facing the courtyard right beside the stairs. It is so incredibly loud when someone goes up and down the stairs, hangs out in the courtyard or does anything in the hallway. The doors have large gaps, so nothing is soundproof. That really is the only fault we found. The location was good, the rooms are good size, there are actually far more amenities than a large hotel. You have access to a kitchen, with cooktop and microwave, there are always towels, tissues, coffee, tea, etc. available to restock your room. Laundry is available on site as well. There is air, and heat as well as a heating pad on the bed. Large windows that open felt nice while it was cooling off at night. If we make it back, we will absolutely consider staying again but just be more selective of our room location.
