Sheets were stained. Property was in run down condition. It hard to believe Best Western Corporate allows franchise holders to represent them like this. Im not sure where the picture of the property was taken. It must have been years ago. I mean, its okay for the price. But Im a HOG member and always use BW when Im on the road. This one missed the mark.

The property, staff, and breakfast were OK but what was not OK was the temperature control in the room. The AC unit was not client adjustable, but adjustable by management only from some remote location. The management's choice for appropriate temperature was not compatible with ours for proper sleeping. We had very poor sleep due to the excessive warm temperatures -- not what was expected after a very long day when checking into a facility at the rate charged. We will not make this mistake again, since we will not patronize this property again. Too many other facilities to choose from that recognize a clients needs.

I booked a non-smoking room, but the first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke the moment we opened the door. The second room was even more unacceptable: stained bed sheets, a used lollipop stick left on the nightstand, and a strong smell of mold throughout. The overall cleanliness and condition were far below basic standards. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the hotel entirely and find another place to stay. I would strongly caution others against booking here until serious improvements are made.

We booked this room last minute for a funeral we had to travel into town for. The ac in the lobby wasn’t working, it smelled TERRIBLE. After waiting forever to check in bc there was only one person working the desk & a line (I was 2nd & it still took a long time) we head to the elevator which smelled & had no air. The entire 2nd floor & our room smelled like curry, something burning & old wet carpet (closest comparisons). Called down to the front desk bc the water in the bathroom wouldn’t get hot, the ac wouldn’t work & the tv wouldn’t turn on. No answer. We finally spoke to someone & they said there was no maintenance to fix the issues bc of the time, couldn’t switch us to a different or offer any assistance. Told us if we checkout earlier than scheduled we would lose all of our money even though we were not receiving what we paid for. We ended up staying elsewhere & had to eat the cost of two hotels. Extremely frustrating.

There is only 2 hotels to pick from. This one seemed nicer so we picked it. Got to the hotel a little early and they said i had to wait to check in. Finally got to check in and the room had black mold growing in the bathroom, the shower leaks out of the bottom of the shower head. The pool was dirty my husband had to clean it so the kids could swim. Asked for coffee in the lobby and they took the coffee pot out instead of making some. There are no amenities here either. The beds hurt so bad my back is shot. Had some guys smokong weed right outside the door and they wouldn't do anything about it. The owners dont speak or understand english very well either.

Good stop on road trip on I10

This is a Truck stop hotel as long as you know that it’s very clean breakfast is good . It’s behind the frog casino which is 50 yards away. Lots of take out options around the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.

As good as it gets in Rayne, LA.

An older property in a nonpriority location, with the expected low shower water pressure, poor Internet bandwidth and mold in the bathroom tile, but friendly, excellent service offsets the limitations.
