The staff is friendly and helpful. I have a feeling that the breakfast there is probably one of the better ones in compared with other hotels in the city. However, our room is right next to the street. There's not much privacy if you don't close the blinds. Also, the room is way too dark.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Great location, comfy bed, and friendly staff. The only hitch for us was that we came during the summer, and the room was uncomfortably warm, even with all the windows open. We asked the staff for an electric fan, which made all the difference.

Fabulous junior suite, huge, beautiful, well- equipped with everything you need or want. Lovely big balcony, can't say enough about the room. And the STAFF, who were delightful: Alena, Margaret, and the wonderful AnaMaria, who went above and beyond to find parking for us. Highly recommended.

This hotel gives off a modern/industrial style as my family and I lean towards these types of places. It is very similar to Marriott's brand the Moxy. The location is great as its close to all the attactions, shopping, restaurants and bus stop 4 which you will use to meet for excursions and airport shuttle service. They have a restaurant nearby called La Kocke and serves great bar type food. There is also a breakfast place that has pastries and hot breakfast sandwiches that are out of this world. My only drawback or complaint would be that the rooms don't have air conditoning which would have been the perfect experience. Even though the temperatures are cooler, the rooms get rather humid as they are constructed of concrete. I did ask for a fan from the front desk which made our stay more tolerable but was hard to rest easy with the temperature of the room because the lack of A/C. I would highly recommend this place for short stays but for long term stays I would avoid only because of not having climate control temperature in the rooms.

Great bakery and bar as part of the property. Excellent breakfast too. The room we had was extremely dark and not well ventilated. We asked for a fan, which helped, but the room wasn't comfortable because of the lack of ventilation. The hotel is in a good location and the staff are helpful, but I wouldn't stay here again, unless I could be sure I'd get a room with adequate ventilation and light.

We really liked the location and convenience of the hotel. The bed and services were great. The breakfast was good and offered varied options. The room was very dark, tho, and quite warm at night. When we opened the window, it was too noisy to sleep at night, however.

I think the industrial concrete vibe is the opposite of what I'd like to experience in Iceland. The aspiring hipster 80s punk aesthetic is a huge turn off-- and the acoustics from the restaurant carry on all day and night, which is jarring. I don't know why almost all hotels I stayed in in Iceland are unbearably hot with a huge duvet-- but I will not be using hotels when I come back. I'd rather be cold in a yurt than hot in a hotel with no view. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly!
