l'appartement est très joli, bien équipé, les matelas sont excellents. bien sécurisé grâce à une grille et une porte fermées à clé toutes les 2. Idéalement placé à côté du centre ville ! Le seul bémol étant l'insonorisation... il n'y a pas de double vitrage, et nos nuits ont été rythmés par les basses de la boite de nuit d'en face... C'est parfait pour des jeunes qui veulent faire la fête mais beaucoup moins pour une famille qui souhaite se reposer !

Great Spot in the Heart of Rekjavik

The location of this room could not possibly be better! The intersection of Skólavörðustígur and Laugavegur is the absolute heart of downtown. Self-check in was a breeze, and with the pullout sofa there was plenty of room for our family of four. There is no private parking, but finding free on-street parking in Rekjavik is easy if you're willing to walk 5-10 minutes and park just a few blocks away. Will certainly add it to our list of places to stay while in Iceland!

Great location, terrible communication

My husband and I spent 5 nights in the 2 bedroom apartment. We loved the location and the apartment was nice and well stocked: dishwasher, coffee maker, pots and pans were ok, silverware drawer when we finally found it, fridge and freezer, etc. Each bed had a towel which left us 6 bath towels total. And one kitchen towel. There was a notice to reach out if you wanted more towels but no one ever answered us. This was part of a longer trip and I saw there were laundry facilities so I reached out prior to our trip to ensure this was in fact the case. We packed knowing we'd have a washing machine to wash clothes. There is NO washing machine. And again, when we reached out (text, message through hotels.com, email...) there was no reply AT ALL. I have the reply from before the trip ensuring us there was a washing machine in the unit. This made it a little difficult for us and frustrating. I want to give the apartment and location all the stars but I can't. No communication and a blatant dishonesty about amenities is hard for me to accept. The note also asks you to run the dishwasher and take out all the trash. I did my part and did those things. Reluctantly but I'm a rule follower, what can I say. Downstairs (our apartment was on floor 2) is a little market which we went to daily for snacks and such. The water in the apartment is good, let it run about 30 seconds then chill and drink or drink room temp. No need to buy water every day.
