great central place to stay & walking distance

our one bedroom with kitchenette was nice. comfortable. the bed was large king. the bathroom was sufficiently large with one large sink. could not ask for more. parking only had 4 slots on a first come first use basis. but during our stay a 5th car was parked infant of the pedestrian gate and was luckily not towed. Bad tourist but that's life. great place to stay in the downtown area and walkable to most of the sites.

Great location downtown. Clean and well maintained apartment hotel with fully equipped kitchen. Our unit was small and not as shown in photos and was misleading when booking the unit. The unit looked out onto an outside guest corridor and we had to leave the blinds closed all the time for privacy. No natural light coming into the unit made the apartment depressing. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the queen bed was wedged into a small nook with no way to get into bed from either side. Bathroom was nice.

Never ate at the hotel. The apartment I felt safe. The apartment itself was homie and cute. It was hot at times but I found out that Iceland doesn’t have air conditioners. The fan was useful. Opened the windows but at times flies came in but found out that window screens aren’t used. The kitchen came in use but wish instructions were easier to understand. Loved the place but could hear people above me at times and around me. Especially early in the mornings. Staff at the desk were great and very friendly. The batteries for my door died and had to be replaced and the front desk staff were great and replaced it.

We loved this stay! It was so clean and cozy, I wish we had stayed here longer. Best breeds our whole stay in Iceland. So close to all the things downtown, loved the walkabilty. The only one issue we had was hearing sounds from the floor above most of the evening until we left in the morning. But that's not the facility's fault. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely convenient place to stay. Great to have a small kitchen. The staff was very helpful and the basket of food I ordered was more than generous. The hotel is within walking distance of 2 bus stops.

Parking is annoying. They did not give us a parking permit / sticker for the free parking in the back despite the email saying guests can request one. I requested it but was given a pamphlet of the parking times and parking apps instead , that’s great and all but I would’ve liked the parking pass I was promised lol. We had to pay for parking on the street for our trip which added up , ended up getting a ticket because it’s only free after 9:00pm and the ticket was cheaper than parking all day there . Bonus (grocery store) is a walk down the street which is great and convenient. Utensils and cutlery was handy dandy and they have a great oven and pots and pans to use . Bathroom was small but did the job and towel warmers were very warm and hot , that was nice. Though we brought our own, the shower came with body wash . Lots of towels and city view was nice from our room. Some guests can be loud. Upstairs neighbors were up until 3 am drinking, they have noice policies and party policies but doesn’t seem like it’s enforced. I’m pregnant and it was annoying sleeping some days, I wouldn’t recommend it for families traveling with small children who need their sleep . Overall still good place , just make sure you really communicate with them to not lose out on paying for parking

This was a perfect location! We stayed in one of the apartments, and it worked out great for us. It had everything we needed (especially loved having the washer/dryer!) Parking is limited to four spots, so you can’t count on that, but it’s a real perk when it works. Every employee we encounter was extremely friendly and helpful.

Location was great! We’re family of 3 here for the marathon, 5 mins walk to race start line. A couple blocks away from the finish, super convenient! Parking worked out great for us since we were about to grab the last spot behind the apartment. There were only a few parking spaces, 1st come 1st serve. So we walked and took the bus while in town. The apartment was clean well equipped with cookingware, utensils & dinnerware. Washing machine were very helpful, we were able to wash the sweaty clothes after the race before continuing a weeklong road trip. Supermarket nearby, picked up eggs, bread and milk, made breakfast every morning before heading out to save time & money. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again next time to Reykjavik.

The location of this property cannot be beat. It's close to everything! The apartment was small but cute, clean, and well appointed. It even had a washer/dryer that wasn't listed in the amenities when I chose the room. The staff at the sister hotel across the street were always friendly and helpful.
