Great weekend getaway
Posted May 12, 2024 on HomeAwayThis cabin was very comfortable and clean! The kitchen was well equipped for all our needs. The views from the inside are just as spectacular on the outside. While the house is not directly on the reiver that was okay. We figured it would be hard to find a house right on the river with amazing views of the mountains off in the distance. The walk down to the river is not bad. It takes about 7 or so minutes. I highly recommend boots or something other than standard shoes if you go before the dew dries up in the grass. My feet were soaked from the morning due walking down to the river. The walk back up is a bit tedious given that it’s mostly up hill. If you’re going down to the river for a cocktail, I highly recommend taking a truck! Our only grievances if you would even call them that was the internet is very spotty. It made trying to stream anything almost impossible in the evenings especially since the router kept going out every 5 or so minutes. There is very little cellphone signal, so you need the internet to even text. I recommend downloading music and/or movies/shows so you don’t have to fully rely on the internet. The hot tub could also use some TLC and a good cleaning since it was dirty and was not working properly during our stay (knobs missing or broken, jets were weak). All in all, I highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway. I have put it on my list of places to hopefully visit again in the future!

Weekend Getaway
Posted May 8, 2024 on HomeAwayMy Husband and I spent a few days just relaxing and watching movies.
The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you would need to prepare any meal. Overall, well maintained property.; Could have used a little more detail to cleaning but I have seen much worse. The view of the river is totally obstructed from the deck- the only way to enjoy the river, you must drive a short distance down to the river, and it is a shared space with others staying in the area. Hot tub nice for 2 adults- but will not fit any more than that comfortably; but that was not an issue for us-- it also probably could used a good cleaning. We would definitely return, maybe choosing one of the properties alittle closer to the river. Overall very nice experience.

Thanks so much for your feedback. In spring and summer the leaves can obstruct some of the views but usually it is spectacular. We do share 3 cut outs that are private on the river. Folks can move chairs about so they can feel comfortable. Many folks walk the 7 minutes but great that you could drive down and are almost at the river edge. Hope you have a great year and looking at places next to the river is great. we always check the flood plain. Water is an amazing resource and one we take seriously when thinking about construction. Great weekend away
Posted Apr. 29, 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I stayed for a short weekend away from the city. This place is the perfect place to disconnect and surround yourself with nature and beautiful views. Only suggestion that I have for guests is to be sure you bring towels, cooking oil, extra paper towells, and coffee/tea of your choice. Otherwise, everything is provided!

Honeymoon getaway
Posted Apr. 2, 2024 on HomeAwayThe place was perfect for destressing. Easy access and house was very clean. Hottub was very nice in the evenings. Had everything i was looking for to get away for a few days with my wife and dog. Definitely will be looking at it for the future rental again. Nina was also very good at responding to questions i had.

Beautiful and quiet
Posted Mar. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayIt’s nothing you can’t like; you have a beautiful cabin, a great view, tones of space to feel free to relax, a hot tub ready for you after hiking….and silence, which nowadays is very hard to get. We will definitely come back.

The perfect house
Posted Mar. 8, 2024 on HomeAwayThis house was more than what the pictures show because once you’re inside the views are incredible. I could’ve stayed at the house, lit the fireplace and not gone anywhere. Being able to walk down to the creek was nice for the pups. The view down there is just as beautiful. We’ve been trying to decide where we want to finalize a move to; the beach or the woods. This house defines what we’re looking for. It’s quiet and cozy and all we need. You can’t go wrong staying here.
