Do you need some time to reconnect with your partner? Or some time to relax and reset? Picture yourself sitting on the porch drinking coffee or sitting next to the campfire listening to the crickets. Time seems to slow down here in the mountains. This one-room cabin is perfect for a couples getaway, a solo traveler, or two besties up for an adventure!

BED AND BATH

-Bedding and pillows are provided.

-After the days adventures, come "home" to a hot shower and fresh linens (PROVIDED)-- advantages of "glamorous" camping-- glamping.

-KITCHENETTE
--single-burner hot plate, microwave, KEURIG, mini frig, basic cooking and eating utensils and dishes (including several pots/pans), dishtowels, soap, paper towels, and coffee.


-OUTSIDE
-Front porch for watching nature while drinking your coffee
-Firepit (because glamping is not complete without it) Firewood can be purchased on site.
-Park-style charcoal grill, because you'll want to grill some dinner after your day's adventures
-Picnic table (food tastes better when breathing mountain air)

-The cabin is in the heart of the Spruce Knob Seneca Rocks Recreation Area.

Area activities/attractions include hiking, stunning views, stargazing, rock-climbing, ziplining, skiing, xx-skiing, backcountry skiing, nature photography, and more.

Best Honeymoon Ever!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was beyond perfect. The hosts were incredibly communicative and made sure we knew where we were going, were well prepared for the area, and they made the entire experience amazing. The property was clean, beautiful, and nestled in the mountian, exactly what we wanted! I cannot think of anything but praise to say about the cabin and the hosts.

The Great Escape

Absolutely Recommended. Every little thing anyone could ask, little mints by pillow, trees that wave Hello, Milky Way skies at night, we so needed to disconnect and BREATHE! The owners were communicative, helped with where to shop, great recommendations in the Helpful Book, can’t wait to come back!

Even Better the Second Time!

We stayed at this cabin a couple of years ago and enjoyed it so much that we decided to go back again this year. We thought the cabin was perfect the first time around, but the simple additions the owners have made since then just made the experience even better. Their hospitality and attention to every little detail was much appreciated! We are already planning to return again soon!

Qaint, clean, lovely little cabin!

Amazing property! The cabin is very cozy and homey, utilitarian in the best ways and has everything you would need to feel comfortable. A great getaway for couples who enjoy camping but would like to upgrade from a tent to a warm cabin for special occasions and more luxury. The hosts are gracious ans communicative and we would absolutely book again!

Just what I was looking for!

Clean, efficient, beautiful cabin tucked into the side of a mountain. Could not have asked for a more quiet place to unplug from the rat race. I did not miss electronics at all, sitting on the porch with a good book and the serenity of the area is what my soul needed.

Relaxing on the roof

This cabin was cute and had all the essentials for a few days. A very nice get-a-way. We would have liked a blind on the kitchen window, the curtains didn't close. The blind at the table didn't adjust so you could see in from outside. There is a cabin about 50 feet away with a shared driveway. Other than that, we had a relaxing few days.

Hiking getaway

My husband and I absolutely loved staying at the cabin. It was the perfect getaway. We hiked at Seneca Rocks, Spruce Knob and Seneca Creek and the cabin was close to all that we wanted to do. Loved the area and would love to come back again!

PERFECT CABIN GETAWAY

We absolutely loved this cabin!! Was cozy, nestled in the woods far enough away from everything but close enough to get there if we needed something. LOVED the guest book!! We used all the great recommendations to plan places to visit and loved everything! Already booked our next trip in the fall. Looking for a cozy place to get away... this is it!!

Magnificent

Stayed here for a few days in late November. Wifi worked well and we got out for some scenic hikes and fishing. It's amazing how close this cabin is to Spruce Knob. Would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to explore the Seneca area or fish some of West Virginia's finest trout streams without the need to camp. Everything was as advertised.

Cozy Hideaway in the Woods

We LOVED this little cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and incredibly cozy! We thoroughly enjoyed eating meals on the porch and listening to the sounds of the forest around us. The cabin is well equipped to meet basic cooking needs and was an inviting place to return to each day. Close to some fantastic hiking trails. Wishing we were able to stay a few more days! So lovely!

Mountain Getaway

This was our first trip to West Virginia, and the mountains and waterfalls were beautiful. Our cabin was tucked away on a cozy mountain road, with a front porch just right for sipping coffee and soaking up the sounds of nature.

Peaceful Mountain Getaway

A lovely cabin offering peace and quiet in the middle of the lush, green forest. Within an hour or less of multiple hiking opportunities (among other things). It was a perfect spot if you are looking to unplug and just get some fresh air and peace of mind.

Quiet and relaxing place

We typically like to try cabins at a different WV state park each year but this time we decided to go somewhere familiar. This little cabin was perfect!! So cozy and with all the amenities anyone could need! Our first couple of days we had a bit of an issue with ants but the owners had already put out any bait so our issue was with piles of dead ants. There was a sweeper in the closet so it wasn't a big deal to sweep them up and move on. It is a cabin in the middle of the woods, bugs happen. Ha! We were able to visit all of our favorite spots and know thay after a long day of hiking we would have a lovely spot to go back to to get cleaned up and relax. I will be recommending this spot to everyone I know!

Great getaway

The cabins was absolutely perfect, and very clean. It had a very homey feel, and was quite cozy. Everything was as listed, and if we are ever in the are we will definitely look into staying here again
