April Vacation

It was the perfect size for everyone to spread out and have their own space when needed but big enough gathering spaces for come together as a group. The pool was the perfect size- we spent quite a bit of time just lounging on the built in ledges.

Publié le 28 mars 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was awesome and exactly as advertised. The road in was closed for two days but there was another way in. Not the fault of anyone. The house had everything we needed and the dock on the water was great to access water taxis which we did several times. The pool was great. The only minor complaint was the pans. While supposedly none stick, they haven't been for quite a while and could use an upgrade. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay.

There are several different comfortable spaces to hang out and enjoy each other's company. The second story screened-in porch probably got the most use, with its excellent view and comfortable seating. The apartments/casitas provided our adult children with some privacy. We loved walking down to the Beach Grill for meals. Being right on the bay was lovely and perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding, though more kayak paddles would be useful. We dove with Sun Divers and they picked us up from our dock - we highly recommend them as well! The beach in front of the house is not great for swimming but the ocean-front beach is just a few minutes walk. The bedrooms are air conditioned and stayed perfectly cool though the living areas can get steamy at times. We were thrilled with this house, its location, amenities, and vibe. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Great private spaces and gathering spots

The little apartments allowed us all to have privacy, but the big dining space and the extra chairs let us all sit down at the same table at dinner time. We dived every day and hired Roatan Chef Service to make dinner most nights…. The kitchen was well stocked and it was great to all sit together and then go to sleep in our private air-conditioned bedrooms with plenty of distance between families. We dove with sundivers and they would come right to the house dock to pick us up in the morning—-Pretty much a perfect vacation and a perfect house

Great space for group of 8 adults, and 4 children
Publié le 23 juill. 2022 sur HomeAwayThe property was great for a large group of friends / family. We each had our own space with private bathroom.
We spent a lot of time in the dining area, family room and swimming pool.
My only complaint is the living area has no air conditioning. There were ceiling fans, but they did not cool us down, which made it quite uncomfortable.
There were plenty of 5 gallon water for us to drink, kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans/dishware.
They had plenty of activities like paddle boarding, and kayaking available.
The rental company did a great job communicating with us, and attending to all of our requests.
I highly recommend this property if you are visiting Roatan, South Bay.

Thank you Jenny for your review. On a breezy day the jalousie windows allow for a cross breeze through the lounge/kitchen. The owner realizes without that breeze it's not always so comfortable so they do have plans this summer to change out the windows and install AC!

Case admirals was a disapy
Publié le 2 févr. 2022 sur HomeAwayThis property is not as listed. It is in need of a facelift. After our first night there we had a list of things that needed to be fixed. Some were felt with. Others we fixed ourselves. Most out door lights were not working. Two air conditioners were not working. One air conditioner a week into our stay flooded the bed of the room the person was staying in. The bed was dried out with pillows by the pool area. Nothing like enjoying your day around the pool looking at a mattress lol. The pool is in need of repair as it is sinking and there was a constant dark ring around the pool. A simple scrub from one of our towels showed us this was not a permanent stain. There might of been a flower bed near the pool but all that remained there was weeds and garbage. There are paddle boards and kayaks to use but all the paddles were broken but two. Myself and two other members of our party walked the beach are and removed the broken glass and garbage. The dock is in need of repair with boards missing or broken. We stayed for two weeks with no housekeeping. Thought perhaps someone would show up after one week to at least empty garbage. There is a washing machine and drier there which some random family came and did their laundry at one day. Lol. I would not recommend this propert

Hello, Luckily, the house is occupied most of the time and we have a chance to check things on checkout/checkin days or if they are reported during a guests' stay. Most things you did report, we tended in a timely manner. An AC that broke on your arrival date sadly not always can't be fixed or replaced the same day. At check-in we give our guests a folder with the house information and we do mention things like the caretaker that lives within the same lot in a separate house. He usually doesn't use the laundry when guests are there but we'll ask him to be more careful. We also mentioned where the large garbage bins are to dispose the trash. We clean the house before arrivals and departures and arrange cleanings on request. We were aware of shortage of kayak paddles but it is equipment that gets order online and hadn't shipped yet as we explained to a couple people of your group. The missing boards on the dock have been replaced. Sorry, for the house not meeting your expectations on your trip.

Family vacation to Roatan
