I booked this as we had surgery planned at Mayo. It stated that it had a 24-hour cancellation policy and was easily accessible to the hospital. I thought that meant we could cancel for the future nights after we left if we were released early. 1. When we arrived, the parking garage was full. They said it often is, and we would have to park on the street with metered parking. 2. We requested a room with a handicap shower. The front desk acted like they did not have that kind of room and it took forever to get it straightened out. 3. We got released from the hospital early, and they said that because we booked through Travelocity and not directly with them, their policy was not to refund the additional nights. So we paid for two extra nights. 4. Because we booked with Travelocity, I did not realize we would not get our Hyatt points. Overall the experience was extremely stressful rather than helping us through the surgery.

Had a very comfortable room. Liked being able to park in a ramp attached to the motel since was there when there was a big thunderstorm and I have a newer car! Breakfast was great, many options and a dedicated person who kept things well stocked. When first arrived I couldn't figure out the thermostat and it was 81 in the room. Seth came and quickly fixed everything and showed me a 'hidden' panel. He'd said he'd suggested they put a small sign on it to let people know how to access! Would be a great idea..

This hotel was very nice. Clean, comfortable, spacious rooms, free breakfast, happy hour. I did not like the parking and hotel is beside functioning train tracks.

Great complimentary breakfast & soup!

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast had a good variety of options from fruit, yogurt, oatmeal, potatoes, eggs, juices & milk, and bacon or sausage (depending on the day). The complimentary soup daily was also nice to go with our homemade sandwiches in the afternoon & evening.

The staff was always willing to help. We loved the breakfast and the option for soup in the evenings; however, sometimes there wasn’t enough soup for the demand. We didn’t get a taste of it, but it looked delicious. When we booked our room, we were led to believe there was a bathtub, as listed in the room description. There was also a picture of a full sized refrigerator in one of the advertising photos. Those weren’t an option, so it was a bit misleading. We were told that the staff at the Hyatt has sent multiple messages to Expedia to change this in the online description, but it doesn’t seem to get done. Overall, we had a nice stay and would definitely book there again.

Super place to stay!

This hotel is lovely. We had a one bedroom unit and it worked out beautifully. The only negative thing was the lack of cookware and storage containers in the kitchen but that was a minor inconvenience. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
