In Due Tide: Oceanside, Hot Tub, Dogs OK
The best things in life come In Due Tide, and this is the updated Rodanthe beach house you've been waiting for. This oceanside cottage offers easy access to the beach, incredible views and all the comforts of home. Recent upgrades include hardwood flooring, renovated bathrooms and a brand new kitchen. Situated on a half-acre lot on a quiet cul-de-sac, this DOG-friendly home offers plenty of space for your fur babies to play, along with the convenience of an enclosed dog run. Getting to the beach couldn't be easier using the boardwalk just 420 feet from the house.
After a day of sun, sand and surf, come back to the house and gather in the comfortably furnished great room with a fabulous ocean view. This bright and airy, open-concept space features vaulted shiplap ceilings for a modern beach house vibe. The living area leads directly out to an expansive, ocean-facing sun deck where you can enjoy the salty ocean breezes and the sound of crashing waves. Back inside, the chef in the family will appreciate the updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances and bar seating. Serve meals indoors or al fresco on the screened porch with picnic table. End the night with a relaxing soak in the bubbly hot tub before heading off to bed. Bed and bath linens are always included at no extra charge, and the beds will be made with fresh sheets and pillowcases prior to your arrival.
The town of Rodanthe is the first stop south of the Bonner Bridge - the ideal setting for a laid back, slower-paced vacation while still having conveniences and dining options nearby. If you need a break from the beach, take a trip back in time at the Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Museum. Reel in the catch of the day from the Hatteras Island Fishing Pier, or enjoy the other side of the island with a variety of watersport activities in the Pamlico Sound.
Please note that the daily effects of winds, waves, tides and storms have contributed to coastal erosion impacts at Cape Hatteras National Seashore, particularly adjacent to the villages of Rodanthe and Buxton. The effects of erosion in these towns result in dynamic and unpredictable changes to the dune line, which may unexpectedly affect beach access. Guests may need to utilize alternate beach access points during their stay.
Pets allowed - DOGS ONLY (2 max). No smoking/vaping.
Great house with clear views of the Atlantic Ocean. We were there during a cold, blustery week in January and were comfortably and warm the entire time. The hot tub on the lower deck (bedroom level) was a great place to lower our blood pressure and enjoy views of the ocean. The views are spectacular, and beach access convenient and close. The folks at Village Realty were responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
The overall house was good as well as the proximity to the beach BUT there are several ossues. The madter bed is not a king size, the tvs downstairs are not in good working order. Madter tv has either been dropped or hit by lightning because the screen was black with fine lines, no visible picture, the twin room tvs only had dvd remotes, the others were constantly signing in and out but you couldnt watch anything. The house said there was cable but clearly it was all streaming service with nothing local to watch. The kitchen may have bee remodled but the dishes needneed to be replenished.
Only 1 cutting board, had to buy a collander and wooden cooking utensils. Linens for the next renters were dropped off early by 4 days which made us feel rushed to enjoy the remainder of our vacation.. the house was very clean when we arrived.. for the cost we pay to rent we expect the house to meet those standards and be true to what is advertised
buy wooden and c updatin
