Quiet and comfortable base from which to explore Rome on foot
We spent one month in this property while we explored Rome, mostly on foot (we love walking). The check-in process was clear and easy. The property appeared as presented, with plenty of storage space so we didn't have to live out of our suitcases. The communication with the property manager was outstanding: always responsive, clear, helpful and eager to solve problems.
We loved our neighbourhood and never tired of the narrow cobbled streets and local sunny square; there was always a new bar, restaurant, gallery or boutique to discover. Shopping was easy at a convenient local supermarket and fresh produce was available at the vibrant Campo de' Fiori market. The delights of Trastevere were just across the Tiber River and we were able to walk to almost any of the sights we wanted to visit. After a busy day sightseeing, returning to our quiet 'Viola' residence, in such an atmospheric part of Rome, was always a pleasure.
