Needs major overhaul

Had read the reviews before booking and not sure who wrote them. Never got the AC to cool the room, walked across the floor in a pair of white socks and the bottoms were black which told me the carpet needed replacing, got up at night to use the bathroom but had to kill spiders first. Sorry I would sleep in my car before I slept there again.

Great family-friendly hotel

We chose Soudersburg Motel based on the location, reasonable price and good reviews from other travelers and we were not disappointed. It is close to a lot of fun things to do in Lancaster, the room cost was very affordable for family compared to other nearby hotels, and it was extremely clean with several updated amenities (new key locks on doors, motion light fixtures) plus plentiful Ice! They also refreshed the room without us pestering the staff, staff was friendly as well. Free coffee in the lobby too.

Dirtiest Place I Ever Stayed

I have never before left a review in any context, however I feel I have to leave a review for this motel. The Soudersburg was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed. The sheets had stains, hairs, and eyelashes in them. The towels had stains and there were hairs all over the bathroom. I have never been so uncomfortable staying anywhere in my life, where I almost debated driving home at 3 in the morning because of how disgusted I was. I was in town for a wedding and the front desk was closed by the time I returned to the room for the night, so there was no one to request assistance from. As a single woman, I did not feel comfortable sleeping in my vehicle in the parking lot, although I did consider it. I was also unable to provide feedback upon checkout as the office was closed when I left. I cannot in good conscience recommend staying at this facility to anyone due to the level of filth I observed. Please save your money for your stay.

We found mold on our sheets and asked for new sheets the towels we only had two bath towels and a dirty wash towel and two hand towels. The room needs to be dusted professionally. We stayed here before it has gone down .

We were never advised the pool was not operational and our grandchildren were so disappointed. We should have been advised so we could choose another hotel. Dirty facilities and really run down. Don’t stay on floor one or you will be up all night with disrespectful people on the 2nd floor. I can’t even imagine how this got the reviews it received. Don’t be drawn in. Will never recommend this to anyone.

Staff was very nice !! but had to be switched to 3 different rooms because of the air.Could tell room was smoked in. Pool was not open and it was 90+ degrees!!! (one of the reasons we booked here). and the WiFi did not work. On and off the whole time. Will not be returning
