Relaxing and comfortable stay!

The manager, Herman, and his staff were amazing! Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant and the room was comfortable and just what we needed.

Property was exactly as described in the photos they provided. Rooms have the basics, nothing fancy but were clean. Location was great for us in Roseau Valley as we needed to be in that area. Also very close to Roseau. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. We got breakfast included which was a local fruit plate, coffee, fresh juice, toast and jam. They also do have eggs and bacon and pancakes available for an additional cost (which was tasty).

A beautiful resort with a super-friendly staff. The surroundings are peaceful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The next time I need a place near the capitol, it will be Villa Copthall

A very comfortable base for a few days hiking in the valley. So peaceful- I slept great. The king room was compact but comfortable & enjoyed the refreshing pool. It was nice to have the bar/restaurant when tired post-hike for easy refreshment, but I definitely recommend checking out some other great little spots in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful- went above & beyond for the morning our guide wanted to meet before their breakfast hours- set us up with a coffeemaker and fruit the night before. We self-drove and there was plentiful parking. After driving around the valley & seeing some of the other places I researched way up the winding lanes, Villa Copthall is much easier to access.

Idyllic hotel in the middle of the rainforest

Such a lovely hotel! The owners who run it are super friendly and helpful, and recommend things to do. The room was really comfortable and clean, and the setting is beautiful (in the middle of the mountains). The restaurant there is also amazing and very reasonable (we ate there every night), would definitely recommend!

What I loved the most about the hotel was the staff. Everyone was so welcoming and nice. They also chatted with us and gave great suggestions. The hotel needs a bit of updating but when we did run into some minor issues, the staff was always quick and solved them. The food was good. The area is a little bit away from the city center but we found that it's better for the peace and quiet. The view of the mountain was spectacular. Just a warning, the laundry service is quite expensive. That's the only thing we were surprised about. But overall, it's a great place to stay.

J'ai sĂ©journĂ© 4 nuits dans cet hĂŽtel. Peu avant mon arrivĂ©e, j'ai reçu un message me disant que j'avais Ă©tĂ© surclassĂ©e dans la chambre 212. Elle est plus spacieuse et plus lumineuse que celle initialement rĂ©servĂ©e. C'est un bel hĂŽtel entourĂ© de montagnes, au calme avec une belle piscine. Le petit dĂ©jeuner est prĂ©parĂ© sur commande, il y a 6 options possibles et il coĂ»te environ 16xcd. Chaque petit-dĂ©jeuner et diner que j'ai mangĂ© au resto Ă©taient trĂšs bons, les portions Ă©taient Ă©galement parfaites. Les locaux viennent y manger, donc c'est un gage de qualitĂ©. Toutes les personnes avec lesquelles j'ai parlĂ©es Ă©taient gentilles et souriantes, prĂȘtes Ă  aider, Ă  l'Ă©coute. C'est le genre d'Ă©tablissement qui offre un traitement personnalisĂ© Ă  chacun de ses clients, c'est exceptionnel. J'ai mĂȘme eu le plaisir d'Ă©changer avec la mĂšre du propriĂ©taire qui m'a racontĂ© l'histoire de l'hĂŽtel. Roseau est assez Ă©loignĂ©, mais il y a des bus qui passent Ă  un gros croisement, plus bas. Ce qui rendrait l'hĂŽtel encore mieux, ça serait qu'il y ait des frigos dans les chambres. Aussi, s'il y avait possibilitĂ© de payer tous les frais de restauration Ă  la fin du sĂ©jour, ça serait bien mieux. AprĂšs mon check-out, on m'a contactĂ© pour me faire part d'un dĂ©gĂąt que j'aurai fait (bris au niveau du bureau). À cette date, je suis en attente d'un hypothĂ©tique devis pour les rĂ©parations Ă  effectuer.

Choose the good room

Be careful : there are two standards in this hotel. The rooms on the left at low cost are horrible. Il y a deux standards dans cet hĂŽtel. Éviter absolument les chambres sur l’aile gauche, proposĂ©es Ă  low cost car rien ne vas. Good : - les chambres de l’aile droite sont neuves, spacieuses et propres. Excellent couchage. Confort impeccable. - le personnel est accueillant et souriant. TrĂšs Ă  l’écoute. - le petit dĂ©jeuner est servi sur menu vraiment apprĂ©ciable. Nous avons pu avoir du thĂ© de cacao local avec du lait de coco c’est excellent. Le jus est tjrs frais et local. Very nice Waw - les repas sont dĂ©licieux - le prix des services en plus est trĂšs abordable - le cadre est reposant et immersif. - le lieux est propre et proche du centre ville (5 min en voiture) - la piscine est propre et privĂ©e - rĂ©ceptionniste disponible Ă  toute heure. Could be better - le service est trĂšs lent. - le petit dĂ©jeuner est trĂšs restreint. Ce sera fruit, thĂ©, jus et pain toastĂ©. Pour avoir des Ɠufs et du bacon. Pas de croissant, pas de pain au chocolat, pas de cereal ni de yaourt, pas de fromage
 ne vous attendez pas Ă  grand chose. Le choix est restreint - changement des serviettes tous les 3 jours - le petit frigo est vide Bad - moustique/ mosquitoes - traditional breakfast not available - No laundry service - No glasses or cups in the rooms to drink some water in the night or to take a pill. - No soap only shower gels for the bath

Nous Ă©tions les seuls Ă  l’hĂŽtel Le personnel par ailleurs trĂšs gentil et serviable n’avait aucune compĂ©tence en hĂŽtellerie et restauration, et semblait ĂȘtre des jeunes en stage. Les cocktails qu’on nous a servis Ă©taient de simple glace pillĂ©e sans arĂŽme Le dernier soir l’hĂŽtel avait Ă©tĂ© rĂ©servĂ© pour une rĂ©union privĂ©e d’ingĂ©nieurs et impossible de dĂźner ailleurs qu’au bord de la piscine ou dans notre chambre. Pourquoi pas nous avoir prĂ©venu au moins le matin, pour prendre nos prĂ©cautions et aller dĂźner ailleurs. 4 jours de sĂ©jour et pas un seul coup de balai dans la chambre Mauvaise transmission d’informations entre la restauration et l’hĂŽtel et erreur dans la facturation Toutefois nous avons apprĂ©ciĂ© l’aide dans l’organisation de nos visites de la Dominique

Bon rapport qualité-prix. Petit déjeuner correct, bonne situation géographique proche des lieux touristiques et de Roseau. Le personnel était trÚs agréable, les cocktails et repas bons. Petit point d'amélioration : manque un rideau occultant dans la chambre.
