Have fun with the whole family at this stylish home. Everything has been recently renovated. This is directly across from a beach, which is perfect for winter and summer activities. We supply 2 kayaks, fishing poles (Bring your fishing boat)This place has 3 bedrooms, and a total of 5 beds. There is also a lot of dining and shopping, nearby. This is a hidden gem and brand new to VRBO.

Arrived on the absolutely coldest time of the year. We found the house inviting and quaint. The view of the lake was wonderful and a big window to sit and drink coffee by. I commented that I thought the lake would be great in the summer and not at 17 below, but ice fishing did cross my mind. The dogs walked in the park across the street, next to the lake and were greeted by many other dog "friends". Although it is on the corner, it is a quiet neighborhood. Furniture was typical of a rented house, but very nicely done and not overdone. It appeared the owners took the advice of other reviews and added the things that people suggested (like a coffee table in living room). The pictures show a twin bed, but there is a full/queen in each room and the one room has bunk beds. We had a great time. We were in town for a dog show and it met every need! The only thing that I would change is that for those of us who pick the coldest week to visit, it would have been nice to have a few extra blankets in the closet, but not a necessity! We had one little issue and the hostess responded quickly and promptly to our needs! Thank you for a great stay!

Lovely home with much more space than I was expecting. Directly across the street from the lake. There was a slight mixup with the scheduling of the cleaning prior to our arrival but they communicated clearly and it did not impact our stay what so ever. Kitchen is well stocked with dishes, pots/pans and utensils. But the kitchen could use a good deep clean. Many of this dishes need to be washed prior to use. The cabinets, counter tops and tile backsplash had splatters. Overall we had a great stay and would book again.

The home was within perfect shopping and dining distances. We were there for our son's Navy Boot Camp Graduation and we felt like this location was perfect, a little away from all of the crowd but still within a good distance to get to him. Being our first time doing Vrbo, the house had everything that we had expected from it. The view of the lake and the walk over to it were perfect! I loved being able to drink my coffee on the front porch while watching the sun rise over the lake! Having the kayaks and the warm weather was absolutely perfect.

There’s not one but two parks for children within a 2 minute walk. The view is unbeatable and everyone in the neighborhood is so nice. The house itself is adorable and incredibly clean. We loved every bit of it!

We loved being so close to the lake and two playgrounds. We went fishing and caught a bunch of fish. Close to Volo museum and great wolf lodge. Took a day trip to legoland and had chicago style hot dogs. We really enjoyed our stay.

We spend the evening on the property, and enjoyed the location especially. In terms of lounge/living space, the living room could use some more seating & a coffee table-the only thing we could do in there was talk or watch TV. Everything was clean and well-kept!

Great spot!

The view itself is amazing watching the lake every morning was wonderful. The place is cute and was perfect for my family of four. All activities we had planned were very close by. Place was clean and has a very nice deck out front.

Such a cute place! Great view!

Loved the view of the lake out the big front window. Perfect place for a family getaway. Apple play on tv worked great. We set up 5 yoga mats in living room and did yoga. Great full length mirror. Cute decor. Couch was comfy and bigger than I thought it would be from the pics. Wish the bunk bed had comfier mattresses - our teen girls were complaining - but they’ll survive lol! Bring coffee for standard coffee maker if you drink coffee. And have fun! Can’t wait to go back this summer. :)

Awesome family getaway

excellent location - very clean - close to everything we wanted to visit - owners very helpful only 20 min from Antioch where we had our family reunion - this is the 2nd year we have stayed here - very happy - lake visable from front windows - beds comfy - kitchen completely stocked - great sunsets - easy walking in the area - shopping close by wonderful rental

Fourth of July Stay

The property was great. It was exactly as described and the owner was available to answer any questions quickly. I stayed with my husband and 2 year old for the Fourth of July and the location was perfect for us. Right across the street from park and beach. Only problem we had was the grill wasn’t clean. We couldn’t use it, which was kind of a bummer since it was the 4th of July but not the end of the world. Would definitely stay here again.
