This was a great hotel with nice staff. There were 2 problems that we faced: 1) The streets were very narrow and it was a struggle to drive our big SUV rental car. 2) During the weekend, there was only one receptionist and s/he was either very busy with many customers or not around. They need to hire more receptionists at night or weekends. The staff were very nice, helpful and friendly.

Tulip was in a PERFECT location, with easy walking distance to anywhere within the St Malo walls. Staff was friendly and exceptional. Only complaints were two: 1. The central AC was FIXED on 22C and would go no lower; and 2. The food was extremely limited. No dinner menu and the appetizer menu was pitiful. However, food was abundant within easy walking distances!

The property and is in a magnificent location, overall a great experience. The staff were accommodating however we did not receive the level of attentiveness and assistance that we have at other hotels of its class. We had a spectacular view of the public toilets in st Malo for our honeymoon 😂. Overall this was a beautiful hotel clean and in such a convenient location and the bar is a beautiful place for a drink.
