Vésigneux cottage is located at the heart of Parc Naturel du Morvan, in a flourished hamlet in the country. Enjoy the french country experience and disconnect efficiently! Just as if you were a century ago… have some rest after a long walk in the woods and Just like a century ago, enjoy the day outside in a beautiful nature, and conviality around gastronomy or simply have some rest sitting next to a warm fire at the end of the day. Visit some farms, meet some authentic French people from the country. Enjoy the scenic landscape of fields, farms and woodlands.. and the silence of the place. The house is close to many hiking trails, mountain bikers will love it. Roads and landscapes are great for cyclists. A sense of freedom, nobody around you.. just you and the one you love.

The typical Burgundish stone cottage, designed to welcome a family in a warm and cosy place. Beautiful stonewalls, welcoming fireplace. The property enjoys great privacy and a large beautiful garden. Gorgious view on the Vesigneux Castle (from the XVIIth century) and on the Morvan hills.
5 bedrooms (3 double beds, 4 single beds).

NEW IN 2013 (1st of July) : one more bedroom + 1 more bathroom and WC. Increased price for the summer holiday season at 690€.

A peaceful and quiet place, literally at the door of the nicest places in Burgundy for french cuisine and wine tasting.
There are gorgeous forests nearby for hiking, lakes for fishing, and smooth roads great for cycling. A region famous for mountain bikers.
Close to cute french villages with local food to be tasted.
Numerous heritage sites, UNESCO world heritage sites (Vezelay) to visit in the region.

Magnifique séjour avec des amis. La maison est calme, bien équipée et fonctionnelle. Beautiful place in Burgundy

We - a group of five - stayed in Saint-Martin-du-Puy for four weeks in summer 2021. The house is beautifully located on a small hill surrounded by fields, pastures and meadows. The house has been renovated with much care and passion and has a great atmosphere. On the ground floor there is the kitchen and a large living room with a large fireplace. The bedrooms are on the first floor. The terrasse and the huge garden are very beautiful as well, and the huge garden is very well maintained,. Brigitte is a perfect host and always available short term in case of any questions. Saint-Martin-du-Puy is a good place to discover the beautiful villages, castles and nature in the region. We enjoyed the time very much.

Une maison vraiment charmante

Nous étions un groupe de 8 jeûneurs et sommes tout de suite tombés sous le charme de cette maison agréable, très joliment aménagée, à la fois sobre et raffinée. Le jardin en cette fin avril était très beau, avec une vue magnifique. Nous avons apprécié les promenades sur les chemins du hameau, en pleine nature et au grand calme. La cheminée pour les soirées confortables était un plus. Nous reviendrons.

Gîte correspondant tout à fait à la description faite sur le site. Il est très bien équipé, la propreté est irréprochable, les chambres sont spacieuses et la grande pièce à vivre est très agréable Les enfants ont particulièrement aimé le jardin où ils ont passé beaucoup de temps. Les grands auraient sans doute aussi profité des extérieurs et de la terrasse à une autre période de l'année Le gîte est idéalement situé pour découvrir la région; son environnement calme permet aussi de se reposer Les propriétaires sont à l'écoute de leurs hôtes et prêts à donner tous les renseignements nécessaires pour assurer un séjour des plus agréables A recommander aussi bien à des couples d'amis qu'à des familles avec enfants

Pour celles et ceux qui sont à la recherche d'une belle et pure campagne, isolée mais proche de millle activités culturelles ou sportives ; pour celles et ceux qui veulent, en famille ou avec des amis, se retrouver dans un lieu spacieux, aménagé avec goût mais très confortable ; pour celles et ceux, enfin, qui recherchent une présence discrète mais prévenante des propriétaires et qui sont sensibles à l'atmosphère des lieux, n'allez pas plus loin : vous y êtes ! Nous y avons passé une semaine pendant les vacances de la Toussaint, à deux familles dont 5 enfants de 6 à 11 ans . A moins de deux heures et demi de Paris (ou sur la route des vacances en descendant plus au sud) nous avons trouvé exactement ce que nous cherchions. Vous l'aurez compris, nous avons été emballés ! Un grand merci à Brigitte et Olivier !

GITE A LA HAUTEUR DE SON NOM

Nous sommes 5 cyclistes venus découvrir le Morvan. Nous avons trouvé le gite exactement comme sur les photos. Bien entretenu et un accueil très agréable. Une vue magnifique sur la campagne de la terrasse et un calme ressourçant. Le meilleur rapport qualité prix que l'on est trouvé depuis quelques années. Encore merci à la propriétaire et à la personne qui nous a accueillit.

Belle maison confortable dans un hameau perdu!

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans ce gîte pour les fêtes de Noël: très confortable belle cuisine grandes pièces et belles chambres permettant de passer un bon moment en famille (nombreuse) même quand le temps hivernal ne permet pas de passer les journées dehors ! D'ailleurs la campagne est magnifique et parcourue d'une multitude de petits santiers pédestres et VTT. Beaucoup de petits villages sympa aux alentous ! Bref à refaire !!!
