Heavily soiled

The property was not at all like pictured in the listing. Everything was dirty. Dust caked on the ceiling fans look like a thin piece of bread the dust is so thick, the walls look like they’ve never been cleaned since the place was built, hand prints and dirt on all the walls, smuged light switches, dishes that were dirty with dried food on cups & plates, utensils were placed in cabinets and drawers as if they were clean but were visibly dirty. The chair was so dirty we didn’t want to sit on it. We asked for a refund as soon as we walked in and was told no. So we spent the first day cleaning the place ourselves. We bought Lysol and wipes and ended up vacuuming the dirty floors, wiping down the light switches, cleaning the inside & outside of cabinets and doing dishes. The carpet on the stairs and upstairs was absolutely filthy. It was so stained and dirty we didn’t want our toddler grandkids walking on it. The ironic thing is the owner asks that you take your shoes off to keep the carpet clean lol. We couldn’t get a refund so we had to stay (our trip was for 7 nights). The cleaning lady came two days later and cleaned. She was very sweet! The internet was very spotty. There is only 1 tv in the house and the internet couldn’t support the one device streaming tv and it would go out non stop. We were able to get additional log-ins and use other WiFi when one WiFi would go out. The owner sent someone by on the last day we were there to check the wifi, which was kinda late

Great Family Weekend

Our entire trip was great. The location was within 20-25 minutes of Schlitterbahn (depending on traffic) and after a long day of fun, restaurants were just around the corner. The property was perfect for us. The process of checking in and out was fast and easy. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it to anyone.
