The problem is that I booked a corner room, 398 sq ft, through Expedia, and you, Westin, gave me room 1025, which you can verify is very small! I didn't say anything at the time because I was celebrating my anniversary with my girlfriend and didn't want to upset her with any changes. Furthermore, it was located next to the elevator, and the noise was constant day and night.

The remodel took away the elegant entry on Stockton leaving guest to enter a side door on Geary. There were other options. The room was excellent. We have never had a bad room there even during the strike and remodel.

I love this hotel, always have! The rooms definitely need a makeover- the carpets are pretty dingy and they just feel weathered. The lobby has also been transformed into a restaurant - so not only do you now have to enter through the side near the parking garage, but it's lost the grand beauty it used to offer. But, the staff is amazing and I still love it here.
