Staff was friendly and the hotel is fairly quiet and peaceful. The ice machine didn’t work though.

My experience at this hotel was almost perfect. I loved the cleanliness of the hotel, the room had everything I needed, the continental breakfast even though they serve it super early (6:30-8:30), for those on vacations is not very convenient, but the only thing I had to mention is about the the housekeeper I’m not sure exactly what time it happened but it was approximately at 9:30-10 am. Husband and I were in bed when the housekeeper quickly knocked on our door and opened it. My husband and I almost hard a heart attack for being woken up that way.. We told her we were not leaving yet. She left but she literally came back around a half hour later and did the same thing, knocked and opened the door. Again, we screamed we were still there and we had to jump out of bed and locked the door. This lady returned a 3rd time and did the same with the difference she couldn’t open the door this time because it was locked. It was very frustrating. Check out time was at noon and there is this lady trying to clean the room hours early almost kicking us out of it. Check in at 3 pm, plenty of time to clean the room after the customer leaves. Maybe something admin should address.

GREAT price, location, room, staff, shuttle, breakfast. I have no clue why this hotel is so much cheaper than comparable hotels but I'll take advantage of it everytime I'm in San Jose.

The evening I arrived, I noticed my tub drain did not work. The plug wouldn't stay down so I couldn't fill my tub. I asked for a different room, got a new room but no help moving my stuff. Then I had problems with the sink. I soaked my swimsuit in it, but then couldn't get the plug open. It was jammed. The woman at the front desk at night was bordering on rude a couple times. Also, no extra blankets in the closet!! Not a pleasant stay.
