The hotel sits on old Spanish army fortifications. The property has a nice pool and a clean, private beach.

The view I saw online when reserved was TOTALLY not what I saw when we arrived. Very disappointed.

The hotel and amenities were nice but we didn’t have hot water in our shower so had to change rooms. Otherwise rooms were comfortable. Liked the shampoo, conditioner and soap brands. Areas around the pool needed up dating. Hot tub was broken water was cold jets were broken. Loved the beach and having a dive shop on site. Loved the raft you could swim out to. Beach & Wait staff very helpful. Easy to get drinks & food. Lots of chairs and umbrellas by the pool. Liked the different games you could play. Don’t think you can justify your daily resort fee when hot tub & pool maintenance not up to par. Easy to get transportation into old San Juan. Spa & health club were great massages were really nice.

overpriced hotel, it’s like staying in a holiday inn in the US but paying 500 a night. Would not recommend, extremely expensive drinks and food as well.
