The view from the condo is spectacular! Security is very tight, so everyone felt very safe (even though we had no reason not to). The condo was very clean and comfortable and met all of our needs. It is ideally located - we were able to walk for breakfast and other meals and and also walked to the marina for our catamaran excursion (Salty Dog) - highly recommend! Mercedes was very responsive to our needs!

Wonderful apartment! Mercedes was an excellent host and answered every question. I highly recommend staying at this location. 24 hr gated security, well maintained property, everything you need. Mercedes's place is beautiful and we had a good time. The balcony overlooking the marina is the best spot to chill. The unit is well-located within the complex. It is so close to the pool, the gym, and the parking. Loved our stay there.

Great location for a stay in Puerto Rico

We enjoyed our time at this location as a family of 5.The location provided great access to all of our activities on the east side of the island and easy access to San Juan when needed.The host was clear in communication and responsive for a few questions we had. The property is in a gated condo unit, we didn't feel unsafe anywhere during our stay, but felt especially safe within the gated unit.

Perfect Place!

This was by far the best vacation rental we’ve had! It was immaculate, beautifully decorated, had a stunning view of the sunrise, and had every amenity you need for a wonderful beach vacation. It felt like home the minute we stepped inside. Each room had its own A/C unit and the beds were super comfortable. We loved sitting out on the giant balcony or opening the sliding door to enjoy the perfect warm ocean breeze. Mercedes the property owner was extremely quick and helpful with responses to our questions, she was even able to accommodate an early check in for our family! The property of the rental has a security gate to enter through and a beautiful, clean pool area and gym.This rental was one of the main highlights of our trip and we miss it terribly after flying back home! Stop scrolling and book it now!

If you are exploring the East Coast of Puerto Rico, this apartment is a great location and a fantastic stay! Mercedes is great to work with and made it easy. The apartment is very clean, well laid out with views of the ocean and the marina and very safe. Just be sure when you first arrive to stop at the intercom and tell the security guard you are checking in. We will definitely be staying here the next time we are in Puerto Rico!

Clean and Comfortable with Beautiful Views

The apartment is clean, bright and nicely decorated. We ate every meal out on the balcony to enjoy the views. It was more than large enough for us (2 adult couples). Many restaurants and activities are within a short drive. The Peña Mar complex is well-maintained and secure. This unit in particular had a very laid back checkout process (no list of chores to complete). Great stay!

Perfect home base for our Puerto Rico trip

We had a simply great time staying in Mercedes’ condo. The view is terrific, and the location was perfect for us: out of the way enough to be quiet and comfortable but within a very easy drive to El Yunque and *at least* a dozen great places to eat or grab a drink. If I had to struggle to come up with a flaw I suppose some of the living room furniture is fairly worn, but that hardly mattered since we didn’t spend much time in the living room. The beds were clean and comfortable and the kitchen had everything we needed to make ourselves breakfast or a quick snack. Mercedes was a great host: very quick to respond and she had some great recommendations for restaurants and activities. I’d stay here again anytime!

Nice Apartment Near Beach

Enjoyed our stay with our 3 Adult Children. Nicely appointed apartment. Clean. Mercedes was a great host. Responded quickly to all of our questions. Less than 10 minutes to Seven Seas Beach which has trails to hidden beaches and to the Nearby nature preserve. Also close to the entrance for El Yunque

Mother’s Day Getaway

For the second year in a row we stayed at this rental for part of our Mother’s Day celebration! Great location and host. We like that it is in the same level as the parking lot and easy access to the pool which is a very short distance away.

Fue fantastico!!

We took our 16 and 18 year old boys to Puerto Rico for the their first time. This was a great place to stay on the east side for a culturally immersive experience! It is not a tourist resort, which may be a good or bad thing based on your preferences. We aren't fond of resorts and loved the local resturants, bakerys, supermarkets, and pubs where we met new, local friends. The apartment (and whole complex) is clean and very safe and secure! Mercedes was a wonderful host, and we all agreed the beds were even better than our own! Ha! One word of caution to senior travelers: my 80 year old parents asked if I thought they would like it and I told them the apartment has easy access as it is on the main floor, but there are 3 flights of steps to the pool, and all the local beaches we went to require parking and walking a little ways. Relaxing Stay

The view was so amazing it was literally calming. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe. We loved the pools. You can smell the cleanliness when you walked in the apartment which was the most important thing to me.
