Rates are pretty inexpensive. Rooms and beds are just ok but decent for the cost.

The location was ok, no real advantage in the winter. When I made the reservation I asked about the hot tub and was told it was in service year round. When we checked in on 1/28 we were early. There was a problem with hot water for some of the rooms and they relocated us. I asked at that time (2pm?) about the hot tub. I was told it was refilling. We went into town to watch our Lions play the 49ers. We returned around 7, the hot tub was filled but tepid, cool.. I inquired again and was told it takes a long time to heat. NOT 5 hours! I checked it the next morning, still cool. Told the front desk. Same answer. Came back that evening after skiing and went to the hot tub,STILL COOL (same temp as the pool). I reported to the desk again, and again told the SAME THING??? Next morning at check out I went down to see if it had changed and ran into one of the maintenance guys by the pool/hot tub pump and heater room. He said they had fixed the issue with the boiler for the rooms in the one wing. I told him about the hot tub, he was not aware there was even an issue. We were very dissapointed. I get that your place is primarily a summer spot, but if you are selling rooms to skiers and they want a hot tub . . . ??? A secondary issue was the strong musty smell on the 2nd floor in the hall and rooms. I stay at Best Westerns, and related, regularly. This was sub par for my experiences. Stuff breaks, but to tell me it is ok and not even call Ron or Bill for repair???

We do apologize that your stay was not up to expectations. Since we had a busy weekend where lots of kids were involved we informed everyone that Monday would be a Maintenance day for the hot tub and it would take almost a full day to warm up due to its size and age. We have nobody working for us under those names and the Maint. team was contacted about the hot water issue that same night and we had to call in the Hvac guys the next morning to look at the issue. After Monday everything was up and running as it should be. We apologize and will take all of this into consideration, we thank you for your feedback.

No hot water! The staff, very few that there was, was AMAZING!! Way too work together, be kind and get things done.
