This place is absolutely terrible! Went there to visit the theme park in the area and checked into our room and went straight to the park…when we were done at the park we went back to the room and discovered that our door did not close all the way, went to the office and asked to switch rooms and was told that we couldn’t because they didn’t have anybody to clean the rooms that were vacant so we just had to deal with it. So we had to put a chair in front of our door so we felt safe at night. The linens were dirty, we found old food under the chair that we moved to put in front of the door to feel safe, Internet didn’t work, Bathroom was disgusting. Terrible experience!

It's an old building but maintenance is pretty good all around. Very convenient to be able to travel back and forth for cedar point and a wrestling tournaments at the sports center.

The police were called there was a fight in the front entrance. Staff was smoking pot out back. We literally were scared the entire night. Requested our money back! No smoke detector

The hotel was very close to cedar point, just a quick 7 min drive. We weren’t needing anything too fancy just a place to sleep. All in all in wasn’t bad, beds were comfy & offered breakfast. The downsides tv didn’t work, front door was warped so it didn’t close completely and the vending machine was out of bottled water.

The best place to crash after being at CP all day

This is always my go-to when i come to cedar point! Its right down the road, breakfast is hot and delish (dont slack on making a waffle sanwich!!!!), and ultimately the staff is so so so friendly!! Rooms are just your basic rooms, always clean and stocked, ready for your exhausted crash out from the big, busy day.

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly. There were only 2 issues: 1 - The toilet did not flush properly. You had flush it a few times before it fully flushed. 2 - The refrigerator had a weird stale smell. I only used it to keep my water bottles cold and it worked fine, it just had a slight stale smell.

DONOT STAY HERE. Checked in paid cash lost receipt. They still charged the card on file. Called GM and She said the money wasn’t where it usually is but found it and she refunded . Then charged me again on cc? Now they won’t return calls or respond to email! They told my cc no discrepancy in the draw! Really someone took the money knowing they can charge the card and I wouldn’t notice! Staff is stealing and WYNDHAM DON’T CARE ! All they needs to do is Pull The Camera but haven’t!

Comfortable nights sleep

I, Trinity Williams stayed here with my Aunt after a full day of fun at Cedar Point. The front desk staff was friendly, fast and efficient. The room was clean and quiet, the beds were super luxurious, they were Beauty Rest, one of the nicest mattresses I ever slept on. The pillows were a little mushy, I brought my own, but I left them in the car because these ones were ok, but if you like firm pillows you should bring your own. The shower was hot and just right as far as pressure goes. The breakfast was great! The woman overseeing breakfast was friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable place to sleep.

Horrible hotel saga in Sandusky

Upon check-in, the hotel staff had locked themselves out of the office, so we were forced to wait until they could get keys to get in. Once open, we were informed that they were short staffed all day and no King Bed rooms were available for us, so we were going to have to go to a different hotel. The lady at the front was very kind and arranged it, so we left and drove across town. We were sent to the Comfort Inn. The lady at their front desk knew we were coming but did not believe we had already paid for the room, even after I showed her our paid receipt. She then sent us to our room which was also did not have a King bed, it had two Twin beds. Not at all what we booked and paid for and extremely uncomfortable. In addition, the lights kept flickering on and off all over the room, and the bathroom was only partially cleaned. We do not frequently book with Hotel.com, but this experience was horrible. We did not get to stay where we booked, we ended up some where else, didn't get the room type we paid for, had small uncomfortable beds, defective lighting, and a dirty bathroom. This was completely unacceptable!

Would stay agian!!

Looking at the outside of this hotel scared me upon pulling up but I was so wrong. The hotel was great! The front desk was amazing. We had a quick check in and friendly vibes. The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. It was fully stocked with soaps and lotions. The bathroom could use some upgrading but for the price and proximity to Ceader Point it was GREAT! Would stay agian!!!

The room was fine. Beds were comfortable with excellent air conditioning and fantastic water pressure. Daily breakfast, included eggs, sausage, waffles, toast, muffins, juice, and coffee. We did run into a couple of issues. Our room key never worked consistently. We had to return to the front desk multiple times (three at one point) just to get access. Additionally, the refrigerator in the room wasn’t working, and although maintenance was supposed to fix it, they never showed up. Thankfully, the property had an ice machine, which we used to keep items cool in our own cooler. Staff was fantastic. It wasn't their fault the keys didnt work and took a lot of sass from many guests. They all did a great job trying to fix the issues. In the end, we would stay here again. Our teammates were in another hotel with all the same issues and paid 2x what we paid.
