Introducing "Beach Retreat," a 2.5-bathroom Cozumel plan that promises relaxation and rejuvenation on the Emerald Coast. This stunning property features a dream kitchen with carefully selected GE appliances, including a gas cooktop and an oversized fridge, allowing you to prepare meals and entertain just like you do at home. The dining area comfortably seats six guests, with additional seating for four at the bar. The open living and dining areas boast 10' ceilings and ample windows, creating a bright and spacious ambiance. The master suite offers a king-size bed, while the second bedroom features a queen bed and the third bedroom is equipped with a bunk bed (Queen over Queen). All bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans. "Beach Retreat" provides easy access to the pool and is just a short bike ride away from the scenic dunes and untouched beauty of Deer Lake State Park and the beach access.

Prominence Beach Access Points:
Beach Access to the West:
-Deer Lake State Park: Located 0.5 miles away, it is the most popular and closest beach access to Prominence. Please note that alcohol is not allowed at this state park beach access, and beach service is not available.
-Walton Dunes: Situated about 2 miles to the west at the end of Beachfront Trail, this Walton County beach access provides parking and a short distance to the beach.
-Santa Clara: Located near Bramble Grove Road, approximately 3.5 miles west of Prominence, Santa Clara offers parking and restroom facilities.

Beach Access to the East:
-Gulf Lakes: This Walton County beach access is around 0.5 miles east of Prominence. Although it is a small access, it is easily missed. Parking is not available, but it is a great bike ride to the beach.
-Sea Breeze: Just past Gulf Lakes, Sea Breeze is another Walton County beach access that does not provide parking or bathrooms, but it does offer a shower.

So much to do there. Biking shopping movies live music food and drinks. All just footsteps away. Beach shuttle is convenient. Beautiful home with all of the comforts.

Coastal Dreamin' made our stay so great! We stayed at the “Beach Retreat” and we loved it! Beautiful, cozy home in a great location! All the staff at Coastal Dreamin' were very helpful and super nice! We had a small issue with the wifi when we checked in and they got it fixed less than 24 hours after we let them know of it! Highly recommend renting through them! Definitely booking our next vacation very soon! Thank you Coastal Dreamin'!!!

Super cute & spacious rental

We had a fantastic time staying at this property. Most of everything you need is supplied. A few things I noticed: I wish I had known what type of coffee set up there was, they need a good mixing bowl and the light in the master bathroom & kids room was both out when we arrived. My husband tried to replace the bulbs but there is not a ladder available. Other than that we had a near perfect stay. This unit is very well kept, decorated beautifully & was the perfect layout for our family of 5. We rented a golf cart & that made up for the fact that it’s not right on the beach. Loved the area and location.

Lovely home

We enjoyed our stay here. The house was lovely and a perfect size for our family of 4. There are bikes that come with the house that were not in the listing and when I called and ask they said there were no bikes so we rented some before we got there and didn’t end up needing them so that was a bit of a bummer. It was also difficult to reach the property management. You had to call and leave a message and then they would call you back but it did take a while for them to get back to you. That being said it was spring break so I’m sure they were very busy. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Home away from home.

This was our second time to stay at Prominence. We enjoy this area so much. You can bike or drive golf carts anywhere. The beaches are beautiful and not overcrowded. The condo is big and nicely decorated. They had more than 4 bikes in the garage along with beach chairs and an umbrella. We will definitely be back next year!

Fun Family Vacation

This was our first trip to 30A/South Walton area and the first trip to the beach for our 6 and 4 year old little boys. The location was great, across the street from the HUB and within driving distance to everything you needed. We did not use the shuttle for the beach, but instead drove, which was good for our family. The condo was neatly kept, but upon arrival we found that the master bedroom bed was broken and so was the towel rack in the other upstairs bedroom. Coastal Dreamin came out the next morning to look at it and told us the bed would be fixed the next day. it never was, and the bedspring and mattress were just on the floor, which was find with us. Everything was clean and well-maintained otherwise. The condo also came with several bikes, beach chairs, an umbrella and boogie boards, which was very nice. There were just a couple of things I noticed that might be helpful for other guests: -mixing bowls. this would have been nice to have -instructions on how to adjust or change the thermostat -a few more blankets to use in the living room Otherwise, we were very pleased, had a great time and will definitely be back to stay again!

Great Last Minute Trip

The neighborhood of Prominence is very pretty. The town homes are all close to the pool and to The Hub across the street. Beach Retreat was, for us, just what its name implies. We needed a last minute getaway and found this cute home. The decor is lovely and has the Beachy, coastal feel that we love. The beds are all comfy and cute. The Master has a tremendous cathedral tray ceiling with enormous windows with plantation shutters but also transoms to let in a lot of beautiful, natural light. All the amenities we needed were at the house and we used the bikes included in our rental each and every day. I would not say that the beach is easy to get to though. There is a shuttle but it does not run routes until Memorial Day. There is a 1 mile bike ride to the East of Prominence where you can lock up your bike and take the boardwalk to the beautiful beach. The downside is that there are no bathrooms and no parking. The ride to/from has a few unexpectedly hard inclines both ways. Nothing too hard to manage but with each piece of gear you bring, the heavier your bike will be and the more difficult the trip. None of us really minded the ride, but we did have to make plans/decisions based on the time/distance both to and from this beach access. There are three other access. Two are 3+ miles and the other is a half mile or more. Just keep that in mind. A lot of folks had rented large golf carts to ride to the beach and to The Hub. Those looked like a good idea but are pretty expensive for a week. Overall, Beach Retreat itself was a wonderful slice of respite for us at a time when we really needed it. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great home to rent!

This was a great property, very clean and in a fantastic location.

I took 2 stars away for 2 reasons-the pool at this property is lovely, but NOT heated. The second star has to do with the furniture in the condo. First of all there was really not enough seating for an average size family of 5. Moreover, the furniture that was there was horribly uncomfortable. This shouldn’t be a big dea, as we were there to enjoy the outdoors, but at the end of the day we like to watch a movie together, and the furniture was truly unbearable. Other than that, this property was great. It’s unfortunate that this will deter us from renting this property again.
