Coastal Dreams -- Roomy 2-bedroom Apartment Nestled in Downtown Saugatuck
Close to shops, restaurants and the waterfront boardwalk in downtown Saugatuck, this large 2-bedroom apartment is the perfect get away to explore this quaint West-Michigan town. Apartment comes with a fully furnished kitchen for those who want to cook in and has a large living room to plant your feet after a long day of exploring! Includes one outdoor parking space.
The apartment is wonderful! It is clean, great location, comfortable beds, and so much more. The A/C is really loud when it turns on and when it runs, pretty noisy but otherwise loved the place. The owner is very prompt on responding to questions, etc.
The apartment was very clean and in a great spot. It is easily walkable and having a parking spot was EXCELLENT especially in a town like Saugatuck. We would love to return.
The location of this property is perfect! My friends and I love walking, so we appreciated being able to walk everywhere from our location. This was our first time in Saugatuck and itâs easy to say that we will be back. We love the scenery, the kindness of everybody, and the INCLUSIVITY! Thank you for this wonderful stay.
Great location downtown Saugutuck above a restaurant. (It was a little loud at night but it didnt bother me.) Everything you need or want is right outside your door. It comes with a parking spot for 1 car which is awesome! My only critique would be to add some fans as It got warm in there. There is no patio or balcony to relax on but there is a park across the street. Tons of dining and shopping and close by Holland and South Haven. Would definitely stay again.
Three of us enjoyed this upstairs apartment centrally located in the commercial area of Saugatuck. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, and the nearby river. Parking was easy and convenient behind our building as well as down the street.
Beds were very comfortable, and we loved kicking back in the living room. We could open the door to the small balcony and enjoy the fall breeze coming through. Kitchen was adequate but we ate out for all meals.
It was such a treat staying downtown-- I could escape for a few moments in the morning to get coffee before the kids woke up, or take them to get ice cream and to the park during the day. We could hop over to dinner and get something we left at home-- all in just a few minutes! The home had plenty of space for our toddler twins and roomy bedrooms for all of us to sleep. We did have to get creative with baths because we didn't notice there was only a stand-up shower in the listing (that's on us!) but we got the kids clean enough! Just something to note if you have littles-- bring a small tub/basin to put in the shower for cleaning up after park/outdoor fun!
We loved our stay here! We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the apartment - it was so much bigger than what we were expecting! Everything was well taken care of, you canât beat the location, and the owners even left a gift card for us to use at Isabelâs market. Would definitely recommend to friends, and plan to book again for ourselves.
Cute upstairs apartment above one of the nicest restaurants in town. Could not have been a better location for walking everywhere we wanted to go in Saugatuck. The TV didnât work so that was a bit of a bummer only because we wanted to watch the debate. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels & nice kitchen. It was very clean so that was great.
This was a very cute 2-bedroom unit right in the heart of downtown Saugatuck. It was the perfect spot for the three of us on a girls weekend shopping trip! Walking out of the front door right into the downtown atmosphere was so much fun and convenient. We parked on our arrival and never needed our car again until we left. Communications from the property manager were very helpful and she was quick to reply. We loved the overall space, very roomy and inviting. Everything was very clean, neat and tidy. The only downside was that the front bedroom is very noisy, you can hear the people and music from the restaurant below, as well as very early Sat morning the dump truck came to empty the many garbage dumpsters, and was very loud beeping and metal grinding from 5:45am-6:20am, earplugs and/or brown noise would have been helpful. The back bedroom was much quieter, and very roomy and comfortable, it was perfect for two to share. The two bedrooms both have access to the bathroom, and one bathroom door is very squeaky, so the middle of the night bathroom trips can be a little disturbing to others. Overall, we had an AMAZING stay and would love to come back! It's a hidden gem :)
Great spot in the heart of town and with parking (which is hard to come by in Saugatuck). Very clean and has both a dishwasher and washer/dryer, which is a huge plus. Couch in the main bedroom can pull out to a full bed, which is great for kids.
Stayed here with my 5 yr old and 2.5 yr old for a beach getaway and it worked well for us. Only issue we encountered was the tv was stuck on PBS kids .. which weirdly worked out for my kids in the AM and my husband and I just watched movies on my laptop at night.
There is also a restaurant below the apartment and another restaurant with outdoor seating right outside of one of the bedrooms so if you have a light sleeper who goes to bed before 10, bring something to block the noise. The restaurants close at 10, so it didnât bother us or our kids.
This property was very clean, updated decor, steps away from shopping and restaurants, comfortable beds, and parking spot. Perfect for our family of four with two kids 9 and 6. There was some street noise and restaurant noise as expected, being so close to everything. We brought a noise machine and it was not an issue at all for us! Everyone slept great.
Super roomy 2-bedroom apartment in an excellent location for walking around Saugatuck. Clean and organized. Could use some WD-40 on the bathroom door hinges. Otherwise, excellent property.
Smack in the middle of everything. Our only problem is that on Day 1, a guy followed us up the stairs, thinking they led to the restaurant! The look on his face was worth the price of admission! (After that, we learned to lock the door after we came through it.)
We also enjoyed periodically stepping out onto the balcony in the evenings to just observe the night life, when we weren't taking part in it ourselves. The Holland Brewing & Distillery tasting bar across the street was a particular favorite.
Would definitely rent again!
The house was perfect for our girls weekend! Location is great! The house was very clean and had everything you would need. Would definitely stay there again!
