Very well located, close to restaurants and shopping. Has both an outdoor pool and indoor, so if weather changes you have options. Having a frig, microwave and Keurig machine in room so handy.

When we arrived, no one had checked out, so the person on staff couldn't verify if we had a room. She ran down the hallway and found an empty room, then offered it to us, unable to enter our C/C info. Ordered a King with office, got a double. Floors are wet, smells of mold, one pool closed, the other pool likely has not been cleaned in days. Managers were not friendly, kind, or even willing to discuss moving us to the room we'd booked. Don't book here, this hotel is a bad idea.

The location of the Super 8 in Port Elgin is great—close to amenities and the beach. However, we were not too happy with our overall experience. The room was quite small for four people, making it feel cramped. The outdoor pool was closed during our stay due to a chemical imbalance, which was a letdown. The bed mattress was also very firm and uncomfortable. We had a poolside room, but unfortunately, that didn’t add much value due to the pool closure. Hoping for a better experience next time.

Great front desk staff!! Very helpful and pleasant. Not super impressed with the housekeeping. Garbage by tge back door was overflowing when we got there and did not get cleaned up until late the next day. Cigarette butts on the patio by our door were gross..we don't smoke. They were still there when we left and we stayed two nights. There was no kleenex in the bathroom and when I went to wash my hair in the morning there was no shampoo in the dispenser. Bed was comfortable and room was otherwise clean. Had trouble with the tv but the girl at the front desk came right away and straightened it out.
