Enjoy a grand visit at Broughton Estate with all the modern amenities you learn to love while on vacation. This home that accommodates thirteen Lucky guests on Broughton Street - Savannah's "Main Street" - is within short walking distance to most of downtown's best shopping, dining, and attractions. An architectural gem, this home offers the original historic details dating back to 1860, including intricate iron work and meticulously maintained interiors.

Enter this home on the ground level, where you will locate the fully stocked kitchen, a cozy breakfast nook, and a large inviting bedroom with King bed. On the second floor, you will be amazed by the impeccable crown-moldings throughout the bright and grand parlors. A formal dining room with seating for 6 open to the tastefully decorated living room gives ease while entertaining your guests. Located on the third floor are two large bedrooms, one with Queen bed and Twin sleeper chair, and then a primary suite with King bed. Guests will enjoy the luxurious beds with hotel-grade linens and plenty of closet space to feel at home. An en suite bath with double vanity, standing shower and large soaking tub can be found just off the primary bedroom.

Walk past the main home and through the expansive courtyard to access the private Carriage House. Upper-level studio, and ground-level studio apartments are equipped with full bathrooms in each unit, along with a fully stocked kitchen in each. Decorated with Southern touches all while keeping your comfort a priority. The Queen size beds are dressed in hotel grade linens, professionally pressed between each visit. With two large closets and a standing chest of drawers, you're encouraged to unpack your suitcase. A washer and dryer can be found in each apartment of the Carriage House.

Perfect location!

The house was almost perfect for our group. The house was clean, well appointed and within walking distance to everything we wanted to do. The only negative I can say is that the description said one room had two beds in it - and it did not. We counted on the exact number of sleeping spaces therefore one member of our party had to sleep on the sofa

A gem of an old home

Great location. Fun to stay in an architectural gem. The parlor has this gorgeous piano that self plays if you want. Dining room only has chairs for 4. We wish there were working fireplaces- even if just gas or electric. Be ready for stairs - both main house master suites are on the 3rd floor. Plumbing is old - expect low water pressure and drain issues. One of the bathtubs in our master baths was not working. Polyesther sheets and sagging mattresses- so the beds aren't all so comfortable. Windows blow open and slam shut in the 3rd floor bath and so we moved a accent table in front to keep them closed. Parking garages are available but only for smaller vehicles. Our van did not fit so we had to get metered parking. Other than that stuff, the home itself is exquisite- we enjoyed the courtyard fountain and spacious rooms. The location was truly fantastic
